I'm sorry guys, but it felt like you were just not ready to listen to the song, as you started judging and talking over the song as soon as it started. This is not saying that I just disagree with you, its just because this is a song that you have to stop to listen and feel. If you talk over it and ignore the lyrics and the mood it gives you than it is just as any other would be (with or without fireworks, great vocals, and show-off). So the competitiveness in this song lies in the fact that people have to watch and feel the music, a thing that is really appreciated in Portugal. Sometimes we like the songs, other times we do not however we always aim to be respectful. This is the beauty of music being subjective! We believe it is better to be honest than pretend to like everything. Usually a big fan of this type of song however it doesn’t grab me in the same way I have enjoyed similar music in the past.
