    It will be interesting to see if Josh Allen can get in that God Tier. The Bills do got an incredible roster. But of course they won’t be able to keep it intact forever. And as a Bills fan, I like to think we will always be super bowl contenders as long as we have Allen. I’m very interested to see what he will do when we do eventually have a weaker team. And here’s hoping Buffalo get that first Super Bowl within the next couple of years. That way we don’t have to ask the question if Josh Allen will be this generation’s Dan Marino and become one of the all time great QBs to never win a Super Bowl.

      I think Allen already is god tier. He puts up ridiculous numbers and has stats on par with people like Mahomes, Brady, Marino, etc. His name comes up a lot in discussions about QB records. People will say his efficiency leaves something to be desired (and honestly his efficiency number are still really damn good), but you also gotta remember the dude’s in Buffalo. Literally every single home game he played in last season was either rainy, extremely windy, or extremely cold. No exaggeration, this man plays in terrible conditions for over half his games each season. Someone like Brady better have the most efficient stats playing in Florida.

      I'm 2000% certain that we'll break through this year and win it all. Every indicator has pointed towards the offense at worst being where it was during the divisional and the defense has drastically improved and is full of talent across the depth chart. That's not even counting how practically every team in comparison to us has been grinding to get back to form. It's going to be interesting to see what the final roster will look like with such a deep roster. I'm expecting Allen to continue going stupid as long as he's in Buffalo and with the team around him, it's hard to suggest otherwise. Go Bills.

    • @SOLIDMARCOS47
      @SOLIDMARCOS47 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@justin9860 As long injury's don't handicap the Bills I can see them making it to the finish line. The only problems I see this team facing is the buffalo curse.This could probably be there 2 to last year to make it further before the East becomes crazy and going to New England again. Also it doesn't help the fact there key players are starting to hit injury age that's another thing to watch out because Digg's is 28 wide receivers start declining at the age 30 so he at least has 1 More good year before that cliff hits.

  • @jman1276
    @jman1276 2 ปีที่แล้ว +224

    A lot of Detroit fans are ready to fight you on Goff. He played behind an o-line that did not play a single snap fully healthy, the guys that were supposed to be his top 2 receivers were cut before preseason ended, and once Campbell started calling plays he had some solid performances to close out the season. This is his make or break year and I expect average to slightly above average play, not bottom 5.

    • @LudiColorado
      @LudiColorado 2 ปีที่แล้ว +19

      Yeah Goff definitely feels more average to me. Having him at QB won't kill your team (the Rams DID go to a super bowl with him) but he's not going to win you anything by himself.
      That said I don't really care if he plays bad this year, just provides the Lions even more reasons not to consider sticking with him long term. If the team goes like 9-8 10-7 (unlikely but possible, weak schedule) and gets close to the playoffs they might have conflicting feelings about investing into a young QB

      He made quite many bad decisions last season and he keeps missing open guys. Of course it's something that happens to every QB but basicly Hurts needs to calm down a bit, concentrate and he will be great. As a dual-threat QB he's got a ton potential but atm passing is not up to a par. Very exciting to see him play this year - wish nothing but the best for Hurts.

      Right now, Hurts is the yang to Justin Fields' yin. Both had similar tendencies. But the Eagles' o-line has made Hurts feel confident whereas the Bears' couldn't, & the Bears' coaches aren't helping by being in denial that they have a problem.
      More coaches need to think like Moneyball. Even if Fields followed their 'by the book' advice to the letter the rest of the season, what would happen? They'll win maybe two more games instead of one or none? They're not thinking at all, just trying to protect their asses by saying "we followed what everyone else does" when what everyone else does only works for one team a year.
      Same with Kyler Murray in 'Zona. He _plays_ to _win _*_every single game_* but the coaches want him to read a playbook.
      A playbook for what? Pocket passers like Dan Marino who couldn't run, was taller than his o-line & had an o-line that led the league every year in time in time holding the pocket? _None_ of those things exist in Arizona. The playbook doesn't need to be paid a coach's salary to be read either.
      _Man_ but there are a _LOT_ of inept unimaginative coaches in the NFL lately.

    As a Titans fan, I wish the best for Malik Willis. He has a lot of potential, it just comes down to how well he's able to translate those college skills into the NFL. I hope he can adjust to the pro level, and be able to do well, but we've seen plenty of Rookie QBs absolutely flop when they get to the Pros. So we just have to wait and see.
    And I agree with your lower placement of Tannehill this year. He has some good athletic traits, and has a really competent team around him, but it's obvious that he's already hit his peak. It sucks because he seems like a phenomenal team leader. You almost never see the Titans butting heads with each other. They always feel like they're on the same wavelength, and I believe Tannehill being a good leader has something to do with that. But unfortunately, you can't win games solely based on your leadership abilities.
