As a dasher I find that the wealthy areas tip around the same but take longer because of the gated communities. I now avoid those areas
I don't know the area well enough to know what's what but gates whether houses or Apts are a pain!! I never understand why they won't include the codes. One community I was in took forever to get out because the exit gate doesn't automatically open. I'm driving around to look for another gate thinking maybe it's not an exit gate and theres one on the other side or something.... nope I needed a different code to get out. Luckily I had to call to get in (cause sometimes you can go through if it's already open) but since I had delivered the order, their info disappeared. And because it was only about 10-20 houses ain't no telling how long I would have been locked in waiting for someone to enter or leave 😩😩
You are correct. My sister and I are both signed up for UberEats but going to sign up for Door Dash too, and we have found that the time it takes to travel up the steep hills, into gated communities that our tips are not that much greater and the hill climbing uses more gas! These areas for the most part do not have other businesses that will return us with orders back to regular civilization so in essence we are getting paid half from our $2+ a mile so it actually becomes $1 a mile to return. With the "work smarter, not harder" concept we will not be delivering to those areas unless it pays $3.50-$4 a mile.
Yeah, that's totally true. Going through gated communities sucks.
It’s changed the wealthy people to know because you’re going to a non red line district You’re still gonna accept An order was no tip in hopes that they give you a cash tip!!!! In return usually it’s no tip and maybe an angel number tip like 1.11 2.22 3.33
First rule....don't accept shit orders. Your acceptance rate doesn't mean shit. Charge 2 dollars a mile.

$1 per mile will leave you in the negative if you add in all expenses plus taxes
Doordash Ubers drivers and other's need to be investigated for warrant's felonies child molesters, who are coming straight to our doors, in Arizona they come from other states to start over and have a job immediately next day, this needs to stop, don't trust doordash, Ubers and other's, Uber doordash is a hideaway for people with record's. They don't care who they send to our doors.
So what about the people I be hearing that be scamming. And saying they didn't receive orders and getting people fired?
I just started dashing today. My first order was Taco Bell. They wouldn't let me pick up the order without a hot bag. Had to go to 5 stores to find one and it made me an hour late for my delivery. Not a great start to my door dash rating.
You should have just cancled and reported the issue. I've been with dash for a few months and never use the bag 🤷🏾♀️
The bag is sealed shut so no one can open it so the customer can see its sealed on arrival
can you cover delivering to certain places for example hospitals I had to deliver to a hospital and it was horrible they wanted me to go the the emergency room there was absolutely no parking and the direction said hand it to me and I was waiting for 15 min and eventually had to leave the food at the emergency room counter registration
I used to work in a hospital. And I would never do that to someone so I never ordered food always brought my own. I didn't even like our hospital so I wouldn't force some one to deliver food their😆

I am so dumb, the acceptance rate thing got me, and I made so little money working the whole day, they gave me long orders, long orders less money = cold food, less rating more chance of spills, less tips and big battery drain for my e scooter

What about when it says 3 miles then you accept it it’s 3 miles to the pick up then it’s 10 miles to the drop off

That’s a great video. Thank you for stating that you need to pay taxes. A lot of videos don’t tell you that, they just tell you, “this is the max you can make.” Well it’s max but not when you haven’t paid your taxes. I drove through Skip many years ago, it wasn’t bad. Having to pay for your own bags at $75.00CDN was not worth it But you can make some money on this, I would never suggest someone doing this as a full time job. The amount of wear, tear, gas on your vehicle would be huge. If you’re doing it here and there, yeah, could be a good side hustle.

Everything through the App.
I’m pretty sure it’ll show an 800 number when you call through the App like UE. I do Uber Eats.. I’ll probably sign up for DoorDash too

I'm new and I haven't started yet but was wondering the same thing. There are some sketchy area's I would absolutely avoid, and would never accept the order if known ahead of time.

Perfect video. I just signed up as a Door Dasher in Canada. You presented a lot of good ideas. I will find a warm foosmd bag, for orders that may require that.
I trust that the app, will give me orders, that don't require the red card.

Also...So the idea is I schedule a "dash" which is a block of time I am available to work and then DoorDash sends me deliveries as they become available? Also, I'm confused on how to let DoorDash know when and where to send me deliveries..should I drive to a hot location and sit and wait or should I check the app to somehow request deliveries from certain areas?? What is the process?? Thanks!

I've been a dasher for over a week by bike. So far have had 3 orders. 1 fully went through. One I showed up at restaurants and manager inforns me there Isn't a order. 3rd one. Little Ceasars order. Before I can accept. It claims I declined the order. Not good odds
I just can’t explain how good i felt when my account got upgraded and the bot grabber software that was added to my account , all thanks to this support LYFT_TECHZ who helped me out. now i can grab all the higher paying at my own comfort zone without no stress.

It's one of those emergency thin aluminum-foil blankets people take with them while camping or hiking. Good for wrapping food bags/containers to keep the food warm.
