I think for sales a key is honesty and behavior like a doctor..saying what is advised and let the customer decide on as many options as possible. Good points of caring in this video?
This is all corporate nonsense. The corporate shops will always need to fight for customers. Quality technicians work for quality independent shops or dealers. The not so good technicians work for corporate shit hole because they don’t have a choice. The independent shop I run has never spent 1 dollar on advertising ever in over 20 years. We gross almost 1 million per year with 3 techs. No tech is ever asked to stay late. No tech ever works a weekend. I’ve worked for corporate shops that couldn’t do 1million in a year with 6 techs and advertising every week. These corporate shops can’t come close to the quality that independent shops do. Advertising all these cheap prices and free services attract the bottom feeder customers. These corporate shops just can’t run like they did 20 years ago because their cars are much more difficult than ever and they do not pay enough money to have quality techs. Love it or hate it but that’s the truth.
