Well the life of a gunner involves either die in plane. Or end up a big smokin hole in the ground
Ah, a Ju 52, and there's the dorsal gunner with a single 7.92 mg. Hm, let's see what he's up against... ... A Thunderbolt. Ok buddy, unless you can get the pilot somehow you're toast. This isn't combat, it's a lamb to the slaughter.
No that’s farting in someone’s general direction
Being a tail gunner without co-op is a waste of time. To be effective you must be able to inform the pilot about the actions he must take to avoid being shot down. Trying to defend an aircraft that is just flying straight and level is largely impossible.

Someone has to explain to me, why aircraft in a sim like this, act soo much more realistically than the ones I see in movies, where they spend so much more money on CGI. Can you watch a movie like say, Midway? I can't.
too many ads ...although excellent, AI is pretty dumb in IL2, Pilots should bank aircraft to help gunner. Plus AI attacker should NOt attack from 6 level
Yeah I cannot tell you have difficult it is to try and fly the plane to bank while also shooting from the gunner position, haha.
AI can be boosted up to the point of no return if you know what I mean AATC, HARD_Adder
@@ohdeer69 How please ! I'm sick and tired of Me 109 aces unable to hit anything from 6 level.
Nope, fly straight. Banking throws off the gunners targeting. Can't use evasive action and expect the gunner to aim.
