Stop, you’re gonna make me cry, and your comment is 11 years old. Hell, you might not still be alive. A lot can happen in that amount of time, yet these old memories are timeless
What I wouldn't give to be back in middle and high school again. I used to watch this show just about every day after school as an 8th grader. Those were the days.
Holy crap! I typed WWYD into TH-cam on a whim after trying to remember some of my favorite shows. Thanks soooo much for uploading this! So many memories! Mark Summers was so awesome.
I would always watch this show when it came one. To me Nick's glory days were in the late 80's to mid 90's. Nowadays, I don't even bother watching the channel. Next to Wild and Crazy Kids, this was my fav Nick show.
what about the late 90's (97-99) and early 00's (00-03) Nick was still decent. imo Nick died around 2005, especially when Nick Studios closed down. Then all the shows went to shit.
epic theme song--love the guitar licks. I vividly remember it, from Marc dancing dressed up as a banana to painting a mustache on his face. I loved the wall of stuff. I'm almost 24 and I haven't seen this in years.
Ahh...memories. I remember getting ready for the school bell to ring and run home and watch the Nickelodeon afternoon line up of Wild and Crazy Kids, Rocko, Rugrats, Guts, Double Dare, etc. Thanks to Nickelodeon my childhood rocked!
You couldn’t be more correct, and the sad part is I’m totally complicit. I have zero desire to interact with anyone in this world lately, and it really didn’t used to be this way.
You might be part of the problem with that attitude. You might not have a phone or tablet in front of your face, but you have your judgemental, and ignorant attitude in front of your face. Don't be a hypocrite. @@ajhproductions2347
@@thekingscastlepodcast1224 lmao wow. I didn’t even see this comment. I remember being pies in the face and having a ton of ooze being dumped on me and my uncle
Awww, that Hokum Jeebs guy died? I had no idea. I enjoyed this show a lot...it played a big part in my ongoing love of pies in the face. Too bad about Mr. Jeebs! I've always remembered his bits.
Are you talking about the red head kid? @24:00 I can't stop laughing at his face when he spit it out ... hahahaa Even Mark Summers laughs at him and says, He Wanted To Do It !!! I'm really laughing out loud.
The Double Dare end of round 1 and round 2 buzzer can also be heard on Think Fast,Make The Grade and the first season of Finders Keepers on Nickelodeon and the first season of What Would You Do?
@snoop0851 Hokum W. Jeebs was a local act, popular in the Washington state area. (Not sure how WWYD in Florida got a hold of him.) That piano a la cart was one of his most famous bits. If you check findagrave, it has plenty of detail on his death...really a shame.
RIP Hokum Jeebs. A truly talented man and entertainer. In his own way, he made the world a better place. Folks, I can't stress this enough, get yourselves tested for STDs. The life you save may be your own. Really, enough is enough. Anyway, I love these classic Nickelodeon videos!
Here's a interesting fact, Summers isn't really Marc's real last name. Marc's real last name is Berkowitz, shared with a notorious 1970's "Son of Sam" killer David Berkowitz.
The reason eacher episode is 25 minutes is because the show would run 12.5 mins and have a 5 min break...now a days it's 15-15min which sucks..less show to watchs
13:32-13:36... if this was played in a arena and everybody in the audience was making noise with their whooppee cushions, it would sound like a million farts.
they don't make em like this anymore... :(
People were so much more excited over simple things back then. Such a happier time, I miss it like crazy.
I would like in the 90's forever if I could.
I do, too!
Stop, you’re gonna make me cry, and your comment is 11 years old. Hell, you might not still be alive. A lot can happen in that amount of time, yet these old memories are timeless
I used to LOVE this show! I had to search for it when the new show WWYD came on. I still remembered the theme song like it was yesterday.

Marc did this show so well despite not being into it at the time....he is still very well known for it though and it was a success too.
I was on this game show in '93 when I was 4. I want to find that episode so badly.

Ahhh...the good ol' days before cell phones and tablets. When people actually interacted with other people when they left their house.

Those “pies” were just straight whipped cream 😂
Probably the highest quality copy of the intro to the show - and WWYD in general - I've seen in EONS

I am sad that I never got to go to Nick studios and be on one of these shows. I feel cheated out of a proper childhood :( lol
When asked for two kids "who like to have fun", I definitely raised my hand instinctually.
Love and miss this show!!
Awww, that Hokum Jeebs guy died? I had no idea. I enjoyed this show a lot...it played a big part in my ongoing love of pies in the face. Too bad about Mr. Jeebs! I've always remembered his bits.
He was murdered.
01:21 "all wrapped up" ironically he becomes the host of Unwrapped
JEEBS! I actually cried when I saw this and heard of his sad passing! So talented!
My god, I loved this show as a kid. Kinda makes you wonder how old all the kids in this episode are today?
@15:57 the mom flips off Mark Summers, haha. you can see where they cropped it out.
im so sad now.
GAHHHHHH I REMEMBER I WAS PROCRASTINATING TO DO SOME HOMEWORK FOR MY 2ND GRADE TEACHER ON THIS EPISODE!!!

ahhh have you seen my childhood? lol
24:44: This was from a 1998 re-airing. I wonder if they had the same but for the original 1998 release of Kiki's Delivery Service.
It always bothered me he couldn’t get the mustache right in the intro
I rember this episode and I'm feel very sorry about his tragic death, may he R.I.P.
It was murder
Arthur’s Big Hit aired on September 6, 1999.
Bully For Binky aired on February 24, 1997.
Arthur Worlds Greatest Gleeper aired on January 13, 1997.

That gum-chewing kid is probably on the F.B.I's most wanted....
Blame his parents reversed gender roles. His mom waves like a man and his dad waves like a Sally
Ahhaha yellow neon shorts and a fanny pack.
Damn what good times!

Amazing.
Does anyone else remember the gameshow finders keepers!?!?! I loved all of these shows!!

Is it wrong that it bothers me that he has his hands in his pockets the whole damn time?
The one with the blond shaggy bowl cut and the green Nickelodeon shirt third in line of the kids playing the instruments?
you should upload more "what would you do"
what a great man.
That little kid at the beginning is now ~26 years old. Feel old now?
Dude why did I just watch the whole thing it is stupid yet okay at the same time
So damn 90's. All of the annoying neon colors and innocent minds.
Jesus I went to trinity prep with that blonde jason kid. He was on the swim team. Wow memories!
Here's a interesting fact, Summers isn't really Marc's real last name. Marc's real last name is Berkowitz, shared with a notorious 1970's "Son of Sam" killer David Berkowitz.
Ya, Hollywood name to break into showbiz.
No relation

Geez I feel Old...
It didn't seem that long honestly between breaks... I do remember Mark wasn't on set but I think the staff kept us entertained... I don't remember...
no one noticed but I was the one crying in the back because I didn't get to be on the medley at the end
LOL he took one bite and realized "Bad decision"
Honestly, I don't care if you do or don't.... I'm not here to make you believe me, I'm just here to enjoy my childhood memory...
13:32-13:36... if this was played in a arena and everybody in the audience was making noise with their whooppee cushions, it would sound like a million farts.
I love the clothes. Haha the ONLY thing I don't miss about those times.
Goddamn, spit that fucking gum out Jason!!
Joyce with her fanny pack! Fucking awesome XD
The weighing thing would probably be awkward on tv by today's standards.
That's the same Robin from Double Dare. 😊
@WeirdCrazyShortGuy if you think that's bad. the babies are probably around 20 now
Dat Fanny Pack....
My favorite disgusting combination from a card was eating at Twinkie with gravy.
