Stanley Tucci is playing Frank Netti, a lieutenant of Al Capone.

Good pick man! Have you ever seen “DONNIE BRASCO” (1997) w Al Pacino and Johnny Depp? I think you’d like it. Based on a true story 👊😎

Good reaction, but a little less cutting would help us see what you are reactiong to a bit more.. Helps us get into the movie along with you, friend.

This movie was so influential to me growing up. The Thomas Newman score is impeccable, Daniel Craig playing against type, and it just might be my favorite Tom Hanks performance.

Dude, the voice-over of the son was just narrative. He wasn't talking to anyone in particular.

In the original script the son tells the story as a grown up & becomes a priest but the movie changed it

Great movie. I've always viewed it as a passing of the baton, from the greatest "everyman" actor of the last generation to the greatest "everyman" actor of this generation. but every element in every scene in the movie is panstakenly perfect as though the director thought himself more a Renaissance artist. The glimpse seen in the bathroom door mirror, for instance, of Daniel Craig dead in the tub is suspiciously similar to "The Death of Marat" by Jacque-Louis David.
But the haunting Thomas Newman score really makes the movie. That he was passed over for an Oscar in favor of the soundtrack from FRIDA (which was significantly inferior) is highway robbery, more proof that the Academy Awards are much more about being politically correct than they are about being right.
Thanks for doing this one. So few have. Suggestions for other hidden gems no one else is reacting to: Steven Spielberg's AMISTAD and Oliver Stone's JFK. Both are great.

I did react to Amistad on here check it out, it was such a great movie. That score was so beautiful for this movie to. A true jewel.

@@RideoutReviews So you did. And in chacking it out as you asked I found that I did see your reaction and commented on it at the time. I did remember that someone out there had reacted to it. I just forgot who it was.
But since you say you react from a Christian perspective (which I have nothing but respect for) here are recommendations for 4 of my favorite Christian themed movies from modern times whose central Christian theme many people miss. You should check them out if you haven't already. They are ...
O BROTHER, WHERE ART THOU? and TRUE GRIT from the Coen brothers and Mel Gibson's APOCALYPTO and
      HACKSAW RIDGE.

I've checked out o brother and hacksaw ridge in videos. You can check them out too. I have wanted to check out appocalypto though, I 've heart thats soo good and I've also heard true grit is a masterful remake (though I haven't seen both)
