What I loved about this drama is the way their dynamic was different from the usual couples who fight/argue first then fall in love. They went from strangers to friends to lovers and still had more chemistry than the hate-love relationship couples. Plus, the flow was so smooth. The confession scene was unique too. How she just tells him because she couldn't hold the emotion inside anymore. It was a relief for her to confess to him. Also how he didn't just out right tell her yes or no in response to her confession instead he asked her to wait for him. Took time. That was quiet mature of him. Aside from the main couple, the side character's story lines were good too. Showing the unrequited love angles, the long term relationships that loose its flame or how some relationships never happen because their timing is off. Plus the whole music career thing, the struggle of the female lead (not being talented in music nevertheless passionate about it), just about everything was beautifully shown in this drama even though it was a slow. P.s suggest to watch it on 2x speed if you can't tolerate slow dramas. But watch it for sure, because it's worth it.
so beautifully said yes!! you took the words right out of my mouth and summarised it so well! exactly what i loved about this drama and i still can’t move on :’)
Good description...I also love this drama..very touchy and teach me so many things....I still repeat watch few scene until now...great drama, great characters, great actors....
Yes it's a beautifully presented story of love friendship career life choices and so much more. It's such a mesmerizing journey. The chemistry is so great, the osts are just great the way their love story proceeds slowly as they get to know each other it's realistic and beautiful. I just loved this drama. It is a musical love story that is worth a watch. I am so in love with the osts and their chemistry 💓
Their chemistry absolutely insane 😮. Every single interaction is just so sweet and pure. Also those kisses are just the best. Im about half way through the series and i am slightly spoiled for the rest but really excited to see what happens ❤. Glad it looks like they get their happy ending.
I just love that he visibly became happier when he was with her. I thought that was fantastic. He was more playful. Smiley. And she became more confident. They were such a cute couple.
My favorite scene is when they in a bus together from Daejeon to Seoul. It was super romantic. It was so beautiful for me. The OST made the scene even more beautiful. It was a short scene without any dialogue or kiss/hug. But the way Jun Young holds Song Ah's hand and the way he stares was sooooo sweet. I cried because of that scene.
I really love the hug in the first scene. It's so consoling. Very genuine. Sometimes we didn't realize that, all we need is a hug when we are in the lowest part of our life.
Most romantic scene for me would be the one when they were on the bus, Song Ah laid her head on Joon Young's shoulder as Joon Young watched her sleeping. Joon Young held her hand tight, not only one but with both his hands as if one hand is not enough for him to feel the warmth she gives him. He doesn't want to let go and seal it with him putting his chin on Song Ah's head. That moment, we, merely as the viewers can feel how precious Song Ah is to Joon Young, and how Joon Young's heart has opened widely for Song Ah, only Song Ah. 😭
You are so right. In fact, that entire trip to his hometown oozes romance. This is also when he tells her he's never felt this way before. So swoonworthy...
Watching this drama was a giant hug. It was so poignantly refreshing. Just beautiful!!! It’s very rare to find a drama with such sincerity and relatability.
I dont think I will ever feel same with other dramas as I felt while watching this drama. This drama is so special and unique. It is very deep and so sensitive. There is not much words and lines but SO MUCH FEELINGS?? like SO MUCH IT FILLED MY HEART ?? their stares and glares and little shy giggles and smiles and touches - every little details were portrayed so sophisticated, my heart is just crying for all of this😭😭 Actors made incredible work !! I dont think I will ever find this kind of drama again. and still so many people are underestimating this drama which is sad tbh😪 AND I MISS THEM SO MUCH I FEEL LIKE REWATCHING :(( I WISH I COULD ERASE MY MEMORY AND WATCH IT AGAIN :((
Actually the scene after the first kiss is iconic when she tells him to say the important things first...the humor in that sentence reinforced the emotion of the previous scene. What a wonderful and funny way to show who they were becoming with each other...and remember the proposal in episode 16? He tells her he loves her and “Oh yeah, I told you the important thing first”. Excellent writing.
For me nothing beats the first scene. The transition of Moonlight Sonata to Happy Birthday. I'm sobbing and then I suddenly smile. I can't literally express my feelings because of that scene. Anyways the whole drama itself is really a roller coaster ride of emotions. If someone will ask me if I will watch it again, I will gladly answer "I will, for many times". Such an underrated kdrama. I hope many will watch this masterpiece.
Done watching it for the fourth time...and looking forward to watch it again in the future. I really really love this drama, well done to Park Eun Bin and Kim Min Jae. ❤
I just realized that the first confession they said is "I like you" but in later episode they said "I love you" after the problems they faced. The drama progressed rather slow but it is so well written that everything beautifully developed, even the side characters. Worth it.
It's actually common in Kdrama (and probably Kculture) that you would like someone first. Saying "I love you" has more meaning in Kdrama than in American TV/movies/life. Loving someone represents a growth in how much you have liked them before and now are at another level. It's actually what Americans/Westerners experience before actually loving someone, except that they don't differentiate about love and like...they immediately just want to say "I love you" or "I'm in love with you".
One of my favorite scenes is when they were still just friends and they stayed behind to talk after Song Ah's birthday party. They were sitting in a stairs beside a river. When the scene was shown, Joon-young's black coat is already covering Song-ah's legs because she's wearing a short skirt. That scene was not very popular and was not emphasized in the drama. Actually, the actual act where Joon young was giving the coat to Song-ah is not even shown. And I actually kinda like that. They left it to the viewers to notice that I think. It's in Episode 4 if you wanna check it out again.
Yes. It’s actually Kim Min Jae’s act because he noticed Park Eun Bin’s skirt was short. So he gave her his jacket to cover. PEB actually said it on air in a radio show. I think she was very touched by KMJ’s gentleman act.
This drama is one of my comfort dramas, I've heard a lot of people day call it boring and slow paced but there's truly a beauty in it. The growth of their relationship from strangers to lovers and everything in between and how mature they are. The pace is actually the beauty, also the OSTs omg. The song playing when they kissed, the lyrics are so beautiful. If you could understand korean, it really adds to it.
they are so pure and beautiful. now they are currently shining in their dramas this 2021. Dali and Cocky Prince of Kim Min Jae, and The King Affection of Park Eun Bin. such gorgeous actors ♥
I've read so many comments about watching this drama in 2x speed. But from what I realized is that this drama has its own mood and if it resonates with you, you can watch it however slow paced it is. I really do not like slow dramas but I ended up watching it. I felt happy that I watched it.
I love their dynamic. The way you can tell they immediately are attracted to each other and they're immediately super nice to each other with no enemy phase. I love how everytime they argued, one or the other caught on to the other and tried to make it right and was honest with their feelings. It's so rare to see such dynamics and I enjoyed it a lot.
The storyline was a bit slow-paced but the love story is very innocent and pure. Theirs was a love with more heartwarming, awkwardness and shyness of getting to know you but I really like it; how their story unfolded before our very eyes. Who needs fast when these little things can make the littlest scenes so sweet?
I would never shut up about the way they maintained the Song Ah-ssi, Joon Young-ssi till the end (polite form of addressing someone). Like it speaks how much respect and admiration they have for each other even when they were already an official couple.
@@nguyenhatien1787 most couples these days drop the honorifics once they get closer or become official but they didn't. It's intimate but the use of honorifics indicates explicit respect to the other person.
park eun bin is such an amazing actress !! i love her since Age of Youth and in this drama she totally 180 different!!! She is just too good when immersed herself into the character! Good job Park Eun Bin 💕
What a delightful couple - so sensible; so honest; so sincere. Slow and steady won the race to ultimate true love. Their intimate moments were just beautiful! What a wonderful young man he is. She too is lovely. He is so dignified, and his voice is music to my ears. Their lifestyle resonates with me, hence I value the step by step progression of their careers and love. A most charming drama with the perfect lead couple. There was no aggression, which is so refreshing. A very memorable drama, indeed. Just perfect! Thank you.
What I love about them is they literally the "brahms" in their own love triangle. They said some similarities in experiencing love does attract. Yea, I think this the premise. The writer is very smart with this couple. I love how they started as strangers (their awkwardness so convicing, yet still made me squealing), to becoming each other comforts, but STILL have some obstacles since they're both from very different circumstances, then becoming lovers (ahhh, their romance very soft and subtle 🥺). And their break up, they are the only couple that succesfully made me crying buckets because of their break up (when I definitely knew that break up or any separation scene are essential to every kdrama couple). Their love so pure, sincere, mature, and full of consideration. And I wanted to add that this is the fact that their confession scenes (the three scenes) are the best confession I ever watched in kdrama history. The chemistry between Kim Min Jae and Park Eun Bin is really no joke (both on-screen or off-screen), they complimented each other and really brought out the best of them when together. They really deserve the best couple awards 🥰🥰
wow..considering how many kdrama shows come out, including historical, modern-day, maybe even action/thriller/sci-fi, and considering that this drama didn't make as much waves as others in 2020, i'm really happy to hear that they got the best couple award! i really liked their relationship, too.
I can't let this show go. All the tension heading into the final episodes was so worth it ! And it nailed the ending. This goes on my forever watchlist. 💗
some leads make you feel all hot&bothered like kim hyesoo-ju ji hoon, some leads give make you feel madly in love like park hyungsik-park bo young, some leads make you feel the importance of understanding&respect in relationship like cho seungwoo-bae doona, but this leads makes you feel all innocent love💙💙💙
i just realized that they have a habit of repeating their confessions, may it be i like u or i love u as if saying it once was cannot equate how much they feel it. i never had a problem being alone and single until this kdrama 😭 i already watched 2 kdramas and lots of movies after watching do you like brahms but i keep coming back here just to feel alive
One of the few dramas where you should watch every scene to see the depth of the drama. If skim through it you won't see how the dialogue and the body language play into the story, which is important because there's not a whole lot of action happening. The slowness brings out the strengths of the actors - lesser actors would make this whole drama feel like a drag and awkwardness where it's not intended. The ending I think was actually a smidge rushed in comparison, but I love that a breakup was written in because it encapsulated a key theme of right people at the wrong time. I also think this drama also is better when you can watch all 16 ep continuously and not broken up week by week. A second layer I love is a strong introverted shy female lead character. Most female leads are extroverted and animated (PEB played similar characters in other dramas) which are fun to watch, but I think it's much harder to write and execute a charismatic introvert. The parallels with how she initiated and ended her relationship with the violin and KMJ are done beautifully to contrast her outwardly shy and timid character. I never intended to like this drama because 9/10 times I've been disappointed, but PEB and KMJ really pulled through AND the supporting cast was superb. People often overlook how important the support cast is - if their chemistry is off or too overpowering it throws the drama off balance. Pretty impressed because having 3-4 love stories coud easily get convuluted. But the writing and the actors made it feel like we were watching a group of different personalities intertwined together - not just love stories for the sake of it.
I'm so in love with this... It made me feel a really wide range of emotions that I don't even know how to put to words... Every single delicate details together made it so touching... Literally everything..
Beyond beautiful couple, they took the story to another level of romance and cuteness! The matureness of the drama, in fact it was all very well done job! 💓👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I dont like love dramma...but, because i like Park Eun Bin in Hot Stoves League, so i give DYLB? a shoot... And, i aint refret it... This dramma is really good as whole especially Park Eun Bin as Chae Song Ah....
my favourite scene is when Joo Young said to his mom "Mom, it's so hard" while holding tightly Song Ah's handkerchief 🥺✨ , it's really make me feel wanna to cry.... Plus when they both feel sick in the same time because they really hurt to forget each other.😔 p.s: I really recommend this drama, many moments that many others kdrama doesn't have, this kdrama had. their story lines to fall in love is so beautiful 💜✨.from each other wants to forget their own each other's first love , to become a friend who share the same wounds, till become a lover because of the word “ I miss you so much", "I like you" and "I will wait for you" even though not long after that, they break up because the pain cause by each other but in the end, they make up back because the word “ I love you" by calling each other's name.
Idk if anybody understands me here but this drama.. it portrays that feeling so well. The feeling that you get when your crush(serious crush) decides to stay closer to you, chooses to come towards to.. takes paths that lead to you and the scenes where the Male Lead starts increasing his walking pace to go to the female lead. OMG my heart is still thumping so hard by just imagining how that feels. So romantic! And so real!!!
There must be so many many other series like this. No blood, no violence, no killing, no revenge etc....this is the top of my already watched 350 KDramas. Both Leads are excellent. I started to watch the male lead in Tempted and because it had no substance, I stopped in the middle of the 4th episode......not y cup of tea especially when they taper with feelings. This series made me ry of happiness. It was kind with struggles but amazing. Thank you to the producers
Never have truer words been spoken about love: "Rather than the pain💔 I felt while I loved him, I finally realised that the consolation and happiness😊 I felt while I loved him💝 was much bigger." 🥰
Just watched this drama and I’ve entered post drama depression... I’m not ready to let them go 😩☹️ This drama was incredible in all ways really... from the awkward conversations to the romantic scenes to the incredible OST’s to the musical exhilaration it gave... I don’t know how such a basic story of two people falling in love can be portrayed so beautifully ... This is one of the best dramas I’ve watched so far
I’m just depressed because it was the most depressing crap I’ve ever seen. There was only about one scene when anyone smiles. She was like a brick, but that’s ok, cuz he was too. She looked at him with absolute terror most of the time. He was about as enthusiastic as a soggy teabag. Terrible dire and utterly miserable drama.
I love this drama so much! 😍 I still start crying when I think of Songah giving up her violin, it broke my heart. But then I smile like an idiot at this couple! The Daejeon trip was the sweetest!
What an outstanding piece of romance drama ! Good story line , excellent acting by both Kim Min Jae and Park Eu Bin ! Super super good ! Rewatching it ! 👍👏👏👏🥰💕💕💕 There should be a Season 2 !
How can I move on from this drama???? Please someone help me.. 😭😭😭😭😭 his voice is so deep!! Oh my heart skip a beat when Joon Young said "I like you, I love you" not only once! 4 times!!!!! Goshhh!!! They deserved the best couple, sweet couplw, polite couple, best chemistry ever! ❤❤❤
I watch this drama because of the ost and glad I decided to watch because this drama is light and give a warm feelings. Love both the leads. They are so soft.
Its easy to watch and feel the chemistry of the leads if they fight and argue .. but this drama leads got the chemistry from awkward to awkward ,, which is cute ..
I think I will never get over the moonlight sonata and happy birthday scene.. it was both romantic and comforting!!! I wish someone would do the same for me too!! P.s. I also find the birthday dinner scene where song ah silently whispered thank you to join young, then joon young suddenly smiled!!!
One of the most heart-warming dramas I've ever watched! It is mellow and slow, nevertheless you will find yourself enjoying that peace and warmth. One of the many things I like about this drama is that the couple communicate. They talk. They don't confuse one another with white lies and unnecessary drama. Although both of them are extremely introverted and not comfortable with expressing their emotions, they try their best to explain and clarify to each other anything that might hurt or concern them. That's what every mature relationship should be like and that is also something very uncommon with other kdramas.
This is one of the best kdrama I’ve ever watched Actually I’m not fan of slow stories n this is the first time I have watched not skipping this is worth to watch
Outstanding Actors, after seeing their camaraderie off set. With so much fun, hilarity and positive cuteness. Then to revert back, to this more serious drama. Watching from Sydney Australia. April 2021.
i love all their romantic scenes. super cute nila and lovely.. . first i was hesitant to watch this drama kasi akala ko boring. pero as d episode goes by... i already in love with joon young and song ah totally. hehe. glad that i continued to watch this drama.. super worth it..🥰😘😍❤️
This is one of my favorite Dramas, lovely story, the sweetness between the actors, great acting, beautifull music and than........his smile when he sees here💖💕💖 love everything of it.
Is there such a gentleman like this nowadays? I would be happy and smiling just to see a man like this even if I don't have one. This drama makes me feel happier than ever. I would come back to watch this couple. I just love everything about this drama.
This drama is related to real life events, so it must have felt slow to the watchers, but that is how some people's lives are in real.......both have their first love, they happen to get attracted towards each other over incidents and fall in love that is divine and pure, that has patience to take things how they come to you....male lead being to keep to yourself type guy to not hurt others, though the female lead is very submissive but she is very clear and blunt with the male lead, that made her role very brave and bold.....the misunderstandings, are cleared so softly with not much harsh events and more importantly they both realise they are inseparably in love with each other.....both are pure, kind, sweet, adorable and persistent....i finished the drama in two days....i wanted to know if the male lead was happy at the end which was the only thing he needed in life, to be loved and cherished and adored....she needed support, lean on shoulder and lots of love and affection which he would give her....that made me anxious if they are together or not....very nice script, well directed, well edited, well acted and well conceived....very heart warming..... congratulations to the team to reach my heart sweetly....wish you all the best for more such beautiful and wonderful dramas ahead in your careers

That moonlight sonata - happy birthday scene is very iconic. But my favorite is when Kim Min Jae's deep voice saying Chuaeyo 4 times😍😍
Min jae voice so deep same with yeo jin go 🥰
Yes, yes and yes...... the emotion in that simple scene is palpable.
woa the transition
Damn truee
Chuayo meaning "i like you"🙂
Their chemistry absolutely insane 😮. Every single interaction is just so sweet and pure. Also those kisses are just the best. Im about half way through the series and i am slightly spoiled for the rest but really excited to see what happens ❤. Glad it looks like they get their happy ending.

I love how both of them are so matured that they talk about their problems. Communication is really the key for a long lasting relationship.
the chemistry ITSELF

The chemistry between Kim Min Jae and Park Eun Bin is really no joke (both on-screen or off-screen), they complimented each other and really brought out the best of them when together. They really deserve the best couple awards 🥰🥰
I came here after sbs drama awards awarding them as best couple 2020. Yeah we win... Happy New year guys
Really!! Daebak I am sooooo happy that they won best couple award coz they deserve it
wow..considering how many kdrama shows come out, including historical, modern-day, maybe even action/thriller/sci-fi, and considering that this drama didn't make as much waves as others in 2020, i'm really happy to hear that they got the best couple award! i really liked their relationship, too.
I can't let this show go. All the tension heading into the final episodes was so worth it ! And it nailed the ending. This goes on my forever watchlist. 💗
Their chemistry was out of this world!
This drama has all lineup ost legend awhhh i love all of it
When Joon young said I love you to Song ah, it made me cry 🥺 That scene was so beautiful and i could feel his sincerity ❤
Moonlight sonata+happy birthday scene will always be the most superior for mee 😭🤧❤
some leads make you feel all hot&bothered like kim hyesoo-ju ji hoon, some leads give make you feel madly in love like park hyungsik-park bo young, some leads make you feel the importance of understanding&respect in relationship like cho seungwoo-bae doona, but this leads makes you feel all innocent love💙💙💙
i just realized that they have a habit of repeating their confessions, may it be i like u or i love u as if saying it once was cannot equate how much they feel it. i never had a problem being alone and single until this kdrama 😭 i already watched 2 kdramas and lots of movies after watching do you like brahms but i keep coming back here just to feel alive
Omg that kiss 😍 my heart 😳
I proudly choose this drama as my #1 fav romance drama ❣️
I dont like love dramma...but, because i like Park Eun Bin in Hot Stoves League, so i give DYLB? a shoot... And, i aint refret it... This dramma is really good as whole especially Park Eun Bin as Chae Song Ah....
4:10 THIS SCENE IS BEAUTIFUL, THE WAY IN WHICH SHE IS NERVOUS WHEN DECLARING HER LOVE IS SUBLIME, IT MADE ME CRY AND SHAKE WITH EMOTION
my favourite scene is when Joo Young said to his mom "Mom, it's so hard" while holding tightly Song Ah's handkerchief 🥺✨ , it's really make me feel wanna to cry....
Plus when they both feel sick in the same time because they really hurt to forget each other.😔
p.s: I really recommend this drama, many moments that many others kdrama doesn't have, this kdrama had. their story lines to fall in love is so beautiful 💜✨.from each other wants to forget their own each other's first love , to become a friend who share the same wounds, till become a lover because of the word “ I miss you so much", "I like you" and "I will wait for you" even though not long after that, they break up because the pain cause by each other but in the end, they make up back because the word “ I love you" by calling each other's name.
Their chemistry, wow.. I love this drama. He always sayd 2 or 3 or 4 time,.. last seen he said " I love you" 3 times I think with that deep voice..
These two could not remain friends even if they tried because of the chemistry and the way they look at each other is totally on a another level
Never have truer words been spoken about love:
"Rather than the pain💔 I felt while I loved him, I finally realised that the consolation and happiness😊 I felt while I loved him💝 was much bigger." 🥰
when he repeatedly said chuaeyo, my heart like aaaaaaa
Just watched this drama and I’ve entered post drama depression... I’m not ready to let them go 😩☹️
This drama was incredible in all ways really...
from the awkward conversations to the romantic scenes to the incredible OST’s to the musical exhilaration it gave...
I don’t know how such a basic story of two people falling in love can be portrayed so beautifully ...
This is one of the best dramas I’ve watched so far
I do agree with you, really, the best drama & best couple!!
This is what I am experiencing at the moment.. I can't move on 😢
Chen and Baekhyun Ost in the background make these scenes even more beautiful ❤️
I love this drama so much! 😍 I still start crying when I think of Songah giving up her violin, it broke my heart. But then I smile like an idiot at this couple! The Daejeon trip was the sweetest!
Their chamestry on and off camera so adorable. Make me smile all the time ☺️🥰
Their chemistry is off the roof!!
It’s been 2 months and I still haven’t moved on, I’ve even fallen more deeply💕bogoshipo Joonsong couple:(

Omggg...the last backhug was muahhhhh😭❤️😘
What an outstanding piece of romance drama ! Good story line , excellent acting by both
Kim Min Jae and Park Eu Bin ! Super super good ! Rewatching it ! 👍👏👏👏🥰💕💕💕
There should be a Season 2 !
I love this drama it is everything and one of the best OST’s by far. I can’t move pass this drama.
This is the most iconic drama i have ever seen.
I love this drama very much, DYLB the best drama I watch in 2020 binjae the best couple too..
April 2021.
This drama potrays what love in real life is❤️
I watched this drama during my Quarantine days in hospital. Favorite drama of 2020.

Is there such a gentleman like this nowadays? I would be happy and smiling just to see a man like this even if I don't have one. This drama makes me feel happier than ever. I would come back to watch this couple. I just love everything about this drama.
I need to re-watch this.. I miss them.
So far, these two are the most matured couples in kdrama world.
It is one of the best drama
It give u the feeling of old k drama where everything is slow, sweet, and real
The actor is so😍😘
there was so many chemistry going on in this drama n I like that. all those scenes were great
My favorite seen was the bus one...it so romantic....it made me giggle😗💜
I love this drama...ahhhhh cant get over this drama💜💜💜
"sweet kilig!" and the chemistry 💜
Just started to watch but enjoying it straight away ..
