People in NYC are so damn inconsiderate and moronic. Where I live, everyone stops for the ambulance, even the pedestrians. I see people trying to cross the street, cars still trying to go, etc.

the cons, in American EMS they are design larger which is even the ambulance can't pass through traffic, unlike on European designated ambulance just Van style
@AKSnow Man Why? That "other ambulance" is also part of FDNY, just hospital based but they are contracted under FDNY. They were responding to a FDNY dispatched job, just like FDNY was. They actually had the green light too so they had the right of way, not FDNY. How do I know they had the green? Look at the traffic light pole and you'll see the "red hand," which means pedestrians are to stop because traffic that direction has the green. Clearly you don't know NYC's ambulance system, and just because you're a medic doesn't mean anything. Don't assume.
