Iyanla Vanzant made me cry too! The ways that she embraced Jonathon she treated him as if he were her own son. And it showed through him that that’s what he truly needed. And I mean no offense towards Meghan because she’s been with him through thick & thin. But sometimes men need older women in their lives to give them that sense of security and motherly-wit too!!! It amazes me that so many people are blinded by the subjectivity of the entertainment industry and those who support it. Surprisingly, Hollywood has forgiven white men like Robert Downey Jr., Martin Sheen, Kevin Spacey and Matt Damon. If they’ve been saved from being cancelled why not save Jonathan Majors, Will Smith, and Nate Parker? The cancel culture had Jonathan Majors in its crosshairs aimed at destroying his character and his career. But with faith, support in his community and a close circle around him, he’s persevered and is still standing. He’s a brilliant actor and I pray that his career will also survive and shine even brighter.

Everything about this was beautiful to me. His speech, Iyanla motherly love and doing what black women do (love, support and help our men carry burdens). His bold and honest love for Meagan, hearing all the black celebrities that reached out and supported him, and even seeing the support he is getting now. No one will ever get me to agree with anything that happened to this brother. I was ALWAYS convinced that if it was a black woman running him down the way that white woman did, the black woman would have been the villain. Black people need to unify in love and support towards each other, because at the end of the day, it is proven over and over again, that all we have is each other.
