Just bought the TS508WF and after going through some processes of updating, a message would appear that update was unsuccessful due to poor wi-fi strength. My wi-fi strength is good and I then shut off all wi-fi from mobile phones and tablet and tried twice more with same results. Did via USB and when directed to either press Yes or any key to continue through the update processes, no keys would work (yes or any key). Also when plugged in via USB and on Maxi PC Suite V1.12, I kept getting message no device found after 3-4 tries yet tool was plugged in to computer. Yet my computer is showing the Autel is connected but during search for device in Autel software, it cannot detect any device. Running current IOS 12. After trying pressing the button directed to press on the screen, it eventually worked after 4-6 tries. Then screen starting from top left coming down in a diagonal pattern were blue and white thin lines removing the Home Screen until I had a screen with completely thin blue and white lines. Then turned it off and turned it back on and it went to the proper Home Screen. That’s when I turned it off and didn’t do anything else with the unit yet after registering. While registering, the code sent via email would always come back with incorrect code even though I went through it twice with two different codes sent. So had to register via the alternate method. So far very disappointed in this new unit. There were some other issues as well during my first 1 - 1-1/2 trying t register and update this unit last night
Can you tell me what the little mail icon is for at the top of my TS508 screen? I keep it updated but I’ve never been able to clear that icon (or even know why it’s there). Thank you.
I have registered the wrong product password and I cannot correct it and it does not work now . It said cannot login . And now it is in blue screen in update mode . Any help please .
I purchased this unit and I’m not impressed with it. It creates problems rather than fixes. Should’ve bought another brand. Rating for this unit is 1 star.👎
Sucks I bought one I thought would handle anything I needed to diag. and replace a part needed. Sadly I found out they want to sell you a thousand dollar j2534 tool. What a let down. Another wall anchor. I think I’ll go to launch and see what they have. Too bad Autel you sold us short

I bought the 508 in 2023 for my 2021 maxima relearning but it won’t even relearn.

BWARE TS508WF Autel has removed the ability to manually enter ID number on new MX sensors
