How do you pack when you are returning from europe with all your shopping? Do you get checked or mentioned that you purchased over 10K worth of goods? Have you had to pay taxes? Then again, you live in Canada. is it different there on your way back from traveling?
I put expensive stuff in my carry on :) and declare my goods. Yup sometimes you have to pay taxes but they usually go easy on you if you’re honest (vs if you don’t declare there’s always a risk they could seize it)

Hey Stef! You can just walk into the store and ask to place a special order/custom order! (At least at the Moynat FSH store in Paris) ☺️ I don’t know if you can do that at all Moynat stores or not since there’s none in Canada but wouldn’t hurt to call and ask!
@@x3cherished Hey Stef! Ugh I’m sorry to hear that. I actually haven’t had great post sale service from Moynat since making this video. The SA I worked with in Paris placing this order actually just messaged me saying they want more money (1k euro more!!!) for wanting gold hardware vs silver which is ridiculous since all their bags are the same price regardless of hardware, I already paid 1k euro more for barenia leather, and I already paid the full deposit. I’m not very impressed with Moynat and definitely not happy that they’re not sticking with the info they told me as I hate giving wrong information. 😠 I’m not sure if people will care enough for me to make a separate video on that so I might just write an updated description on this video later on detailing my experience afterwards but I’m sorry about that!!
@@janeshappyplace3687 Hi Jane, that's really a bummer to hear. 🙁 I am guessing the information shared is not consistent among their staff as I was informed the barenia leather would cost about ~2.5k euro more than the listed sale price (not too sure whether for your case the additional $ top-up they are requesting for now is due to the leather or the hardware). Hopefully you will manage to get it sorted out with Moynat soon!

I actually cancelled the order because I don’t think the bag is worth almost 9k cad after duties and taxes :(. Maybe I’ll get my barenia fix elsewhere hehe
