In many years of being in the black metal scene and just about loving everything I've heard, I can say without complete honesty that this is the most piece of shit track I've ever heard. I like Thy Serpent, and Wine From Tears is what really started me on this channel, but this is a complete piece of shit. The quality of the sound is so under-produced I questioned my own hearing. Don't go getting pissed at me over this and saying I shouldn't have listened to it. I thought it would be good.
That is fair, but back then going through demos and coming across it. There’s something about it that is great and the re-recording just didn’t capture the magic. Does it sound like it was recorded with a vacuum cleaner? Yes. Is it good to me still? Yes. ❤
