FYI - if you don't butter the toast it isn't beans on toast. As an aside, if you scramble a few eggs and throw those on toast (again, BUTTER THE TOAST, man...) and then dump a pan of beans over the top it's a whole other ball game - if you're feeling fancy grate a little cheddar over the top and hit it with a pepper grinder. Trust me, it'll change your life.
