- I use a run n' gun cinema rig daily, with my Canon EOS R5, SmallRig cage, mounts, follow focus and handle. I also add the Atomos Ninja V+ for better visualisation and ProRes recording in 8K and 4K and a FXlion V-mount battery to power it all. This is a lightweight but highly efficient rig. Enjoy the ASMR.

My next street photography setup
All the best and go for it 👊🏽
Is this a joke I can’t tell
Don't you just love watching a perfect setup
Pure bliss 😌
So satisfying to watch this 😃
Glad you liked it. We should do more of these.
beautiful
Thank you. What did you like more, the sound or the visuals?
@drrave love the sound. Trying to get the same setup. Any chance you list the parts - also what vmount battery from fxlion are you using?
Thanks. I wish I had a picture of the setup. Pretty simple, I used a smallrig lav mic connected to the camera. I kept the lav mic on the table itself to record sounds of objects being picked up from the table. I used the Fxlion Nano one with the SmallRig V mount battery holder. @@DrRave hey Dave, how are you connecting the nano one and also. Why nano one over two? I'm in the market for an external but have heard some stories of causing some damage to equipment don't want to do that!
Nano one was the smallest and can power 3 things for me - Ninja V+, follow focus and the Camera. Nano two is bigger and heavier. I needed something light so Nano one.
I'm not sure why everyone is using quick release plates on top of their 15mm rod baseplates, why do you want to separate the camera from the rods? They're always on for me and I just remove them at the end of the day when packing up
In my case, it’s because I use a Canon R5 and shoot both video and photo. The quick release plate, makes it easy for me to switch and use a different tripod, gimbal or slider if needed. The idea is to reduce obstacles that slow me down.
Does your V mount power though USB, the R5 is ok with that? it must get enough voltage or watts
I used the USB-C port for the R5. Works well. You can check the requirements of the R5 online and compare it with the output of your V-mount and verify as well.
I have an r5 AC wall power thing with a dummy battery. I'm hoping that the 8v from my baseplate will power the camera via dummy battery. @@DrRave
@@jackharper24 It should, these v-mount batteries are pretty smart and let the receiver decide what power to draw.
Thanks for the replies. It's hard to find a very specific question about the R5 and not the r5c, etc. i appreciate it.@@DrRave
My pleasure 😊 we’ve all got to support one another 👍🏽
Do you have links to all the parts you used?
