The best fog machine repair advice no one ever told you
มุมมอง 6252 หลายเดือนก่อน
Here is how I fixed my Fog machine when my previous trick did not work. In my previous video, I showed you how to fix the fog machine without opening it up, but other things can go wrong and in my case it did. The heating element stopped working, it was not clogged, just dead, it happens. Before trying this video, I highly suggest trying my first solution, as that is the most common reason why ...

helloooo been trying to follow this, but still having problems that spits out the liquid :( any pointers? please
My guess is the thermostat or heating element. Watch this video for details - th-cam.com/video/XHn3BVI6gsw/w-d-xo.html
@@DrRave I guess that too. Thank u so much, will look into it. :))
i love how camera equipment fit so perfectly into each other
I love it too 👊🏽
at this point i'm wondering what shortcut you assigned to W?
Watch this for the complete list of shortcuts. You can do this on your own or buy the entire shortcut file. th-cam.com/video/rMKQa7I-mkE/w-d-xo.html
thanks
My pleasure
Mine keeps going in sleep, my batteries are dead, thats for sure but when i bought batteries from outside, it turns on but after some time it goes in sleep but it stays little longer than the original batteries
Could be a balance issue too. If the gimbal is not balanced properly, it will go to sleep to protect the motors.
This shortcut are paid, Scammer,,
Hi, they are now paid after updates and being free for over a year. We all have families to feed. And I don’t think $3 is a scam. It’s a pity that you think so. All the best creating them yourself while watching the videos. The videos are still free and so is the tutorial.
@@DrRave What are the diffrence between paid and free version. That was my point.
@Rid-effects once I updated the shortcuts with new ones for v19, I made it paid. There is no free version anymore.
how about the switch is notvworking?
Simple- replace the switch.
speed point shorcut?...Ctrl+{

What material did you use?
It’s Savage translum paper
The LED screen has gone dark on my Moza Aircross 2. Is there any way to fix it? Thanks in advance for your help. Jason
Sorry. No idea about that.
Your method of guidance is simply superb.... 🎉
Thank you. Really appreciate the comment. 🤗
does it work with normal vinegar also (not white) ?
Yes it should.
What lens and camera?
That doesn’t matter. You can use any camera and lens for your particular shoot.
Thank you for a fantastic video! We'd be happy to answer any questions about Dehancer in the comments.

man thank you so much!
My pleasure 👊🏽
Is it the same thing for bubbles and fog machine
Do you mean the fog machine is spitting bubbles? Or are you asking about a bubble machine?
I love you dearly brother!
Love you too brother 🤗
Remarkable ! Thanks.
My pleasure 😊
How about when it stops drawing power :( I had it running inside a casket sized box and it tripped the outlet it was plugged into, now it won't draw any power but nothing looks fried. :(
Oh! That could mean the board inside is fried unless it has a trip switch. Maybe open it up and check the board if power is getting through.
@@DrRave All the wires seem to pass current, as long as my brother checked them connecting the right ones together. I'm not sure if it has a trip switch hidden somewhere, what would I look for. It's an old 2010 machine, Jin Yu Lighting Limited FM-700 Fogger. I can send you a video if that would be helpful? swtich
Can you try and bypass the thermostat and see if it works, the thermostat might be faulty and stops the return of current. Take a look at this video to understand all parts if you need to - th-cam.com/video/XHn3BVI6gsw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=UT9xWLukPt5ZB2EE - in this video, I replaced the heating element, but your issue seems thermostat related.
@@DrRave How would I go about doing that? I'm not electrically inclined. I did find an image in my earlier research of another machine showing a trip switch/thermal fuse in some fog machines, and I'm wondering if that may be what this is in my machine? Image : drive.google.com/file/d/1mq2ESQestcPxvE6o0s3SKBRr7WgYOiEZ/view?usp=sharing Video of the inside of my fog machine : drive.google.com/file/d/1QTEidZLisVpFhD4VX_kpcj23zJJGXKtj/view?usp=sharing I see no thermostat, but it definitely died while it was in an enclosed space which would seem logical a thermal trip may have gone off. Not sure if that would be something we could replace?
Cool video
Thanks glad you liked it 😊
Worked perfectly thanks!
That’s awesome 😎
This video was perfect, exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!
My pleasure 😊
Worth a go but didn't work for me
What is the issue? Watch this video for more diagnostis - th-cam.com/video/XHn3BVI6gsw/w-d-xo.html
Thank you! This got my machine back up and running!
That’s awesome 🤩
Thank you!! My family was pretty bummed at the prospect of a Halloween with no fog machine and your trick saved the day!
That’s awesome. Happy Halloween!!! 🎃
Thank you so much you saved my fog machine!
That’s great. I’m glad it helped 👍🏽
Thank you so much
My pleasure 😊
What if the tip doesnt come off? (Using chauvet DJ: hurricane 700)
I would say to just try and create a suction that you can push it through with, so maybe some liquid latex to create a temporary seal (if it won’t effect the machine)
If nothing works, you could open up the unit, and push the fluid directly into the pump. Take a look at this video, it's going live today, solving the heating element issue in the fog machines, but you will see the inside of the machine and get a gist of how things work and how to fix it. th-cam.com/video/XHn3BVI6gsw/w-d-xo.html
Moza aircross 2 err 8001 problem , please give the solution
Sorry, I don’t have that model. Check online for the error or contact Moza.
nice!
Thank you. Try it out 👍🏽
I did this shortcut as mentioned in the video but it doesn't really want to work I don't understand why this is happening to me The only shortcut that doesn't work for me
Strange. It should work. Maybe restart the computer and Davinci and try. Have you updated to the latest version?
How are there no comments? This DIY shows how to easily make an impressive wall of fog. Thank you!
Haha. Thank you. Sometimes that’s what happens to TH-cam videos, they disappear into the void 😉
This advice was key - I've dealt with clogged pumps before and opened the machine up, etc., to clean. But the idea to force liquid in with a syringe worked - I didn't have one handy so used a spray bottle with the diffusion nozzle removed. I think mostly the act of forcing the liquid/vinegar cleared the clog. Other videos just suggest to put vinegar in the tank which is probably a good idea if you are storing it for a long period of time (provided you clear it all out) or have low output, but a completely clogged pump can't draw liquid. Thanks!
Yes, only open if necessary. Interestingly my heat pump stopped working yesterday during a shoot. I’ll make a video how to replace that over the weekend 😉 by opening it up 😢
I have a question Im hoping you can answer. When I lay my video clips out on the timeline they are displayed in 1080 x 1920 and not not 1920 x 1080 as yours are. Please advise. Thanks in advance
Sure, most probably you have them set to fill the frame on import. Just select the clip and within Inspector->scaling -> select FIT. That should do it.
@@DrRave Thanks for the reply but still no luck. I have been using transform but that distorts my image
You are king. Finally, you have helped me solve the issue. I thank you so much
My pleasure
Background music over powers your narration
I didn’t realise that. Thanks for letting me know. Feel free to ask me any questions if you didn’t understand. I’ll help you out 👍🏽
Bought a used one Think this is what’s wrong with it. Will try Ty
All the best
Mine is pushing out the liquid no smoke
That’s strange. You might need to dilute the smoke liquid. Dilute a little bit and try. Also check if the tip of the machine is getting hot or not.
Hello Bro Thanks for the awesome video. I have one question: Is it possible to remove left side of right side of the playhead without ripple deleting it ?
Hey, yes, just hit backspace. It will delete without rippling. Does that work for you?
You can also try ctrl + shift + left or right bracket keys. The backspace I mentioned above deletes the selected clip after you have cut it. So for you you’re asking it’s ctrl+shift+[ left bracket - to cut and delete on left Or Ctrl+shift+] right bracket - to cut and delete on right Hope this helps.
Excellent Viveo
Thank you 🙏🏽
This totally worked. I didn’t have vinegar but just used the fog juice and syringe. Thanks!!!
That’s good to know. Glad it helped 👍🏽
I did that but my pump is still stuck and vinegar won't pump through
Is the pump making a noise, if pump is working push the syringe to push the liquid through.
THANK YOU
My pleasure
Easiest like of my life.
And I Thank you for that 😊
Unfortunately I can't find the free shortcuts anymore :(
Hi Dustin, it’s not free anymore. The link is in the TH-cam video description $3
@@DrRave I saw that. Too bad. But, I do understand!
@@DustinWatts Thank you for understanding :)
What about a bubble fogger that turns on but doesnt do anything?
Sorry. No idea what that is?
Hi, I tried the syringe, and fog came out, but when I tried it normally no fog came out. What can be another possible solution?
Maybe the pump is not working. Does it pull the liquid in?
@@DrRave no, it doesn't do anything.
@@pattyanaya3502 So when pushing with the syringe, fog comes out, but without force it doesn't. Correct. Looks like the pump has failed and is not able to pull the fog juice into the machine. You can get the pump replaced, but the unit will need to be opened.
@DrRave thank you for ur response. I just changed the pump, and now the machine just spits the liquid. Perhaps it's best to dump it.
After replacing the pump, it spits out liquid. Depending on the description so far, you either have a faulty thermostat or heating element. I cannot tell for sure without testing the Electricals. Both are relatively cheap to replace, but you need to bypass the thermostat to see what is the problem. I’ll be uploading a video on Tuesday where I show everything and replace a faulty heating element.
