दोस्तो! पेश है साहिर लुधियानवी की नज़्मों का संकलन 'तल्ख़ियाँ' का बुक रिव्यू। यह किताब 1959 में 'राजपाल प्रकाशन' से प्रकाशित हुई थी। इस किताब में साहिर लुधियानवी की 67 नज़्में और ग़ज़लें हैं। साहिर लुधियानवी की बहुत ही प्रसिद्ध नज़्म 'ताजमहल' और 'परछाइयाँ' भी इस किताब 'तल्ख़ियाँ' में जगह पाई हैं।जंग के हालात पर इनकी नज़्म 'परछाइयाँ' सच्चाई पेश करती है।

Yes! Talkhiyan is an important book of Sahir that shows his potential. In same time Sahir was Film Lyricist and a Shaayar. So many Nazam has been used in film from his own collection.His filmi songs are not apart from literature. Really..hi was great!

(said Einstein of Mahatma Gandhi)” Sahir’s poetry & wisdom would shine on this earth long after we have perished. SAHIR= Wisdom of Aristotle+Brilliance of Einstein. Sahir Ludhianvi was FIRST A PHILOSOPHER who wrote poetry to convey his GOD GIVEN WISDOM & life experiences of his own to common man for his/her welfare in his poetry. Every word was carefully crafted & inserted in the right context to convey true message from that great thinker for A given situation (issue facing common man under similar circumstances).Not even one other published poet in any language on this earth has addressed so many diverse issues facing the mortals in his/her work as Sahir has done in impeccable manner & forceful combination of words.
Long after we (mortals) have perished immortal poetry by SAHIR would shine on this earth with light radiated by NEXT SUN after demise of the present Sun (and that is perhaps few hundred million years from now-- and also if "MEN" do not kill each other in between all those long years & life has to start with single cell organisms once again as full circle on this earth second time around).My 2 cents from New York.
SAHIR= Wisdom of Aristotle +Brilliance of Einstein.... Well said sir. Really, Sahir was a great poet. He was not only a poet of love as said. He wrote also on social issues, women, hunger, war, poverty. He had seen big struggle in his life. He was deeply attached with her mother and these all appeared in his poetry. "Mere Geet, ChakLe, Bangal, shikast e Jindan, ye Kiska Lahoo hai and Parchhaiyan" and so many like these prove... माफ़ कीजियेगा ! साहिर लुधियानवी साहिब की लिखी पहली किताब "तल्ख़ियाँ " है लेकिन इसमें परछाईयाँ शामिल नहीं हैं ये एक अलग किताब है !! हां ये हो सकता है कि आज की तल्ख़ियाँ किताब में परछाईयाँ को भी साथ जोड़ दिया गया हो ! मगर 1945 में छपी तल्ख़ियाँ में परछाईयाँ नाम की नज़्म नहीं है !!
