am i missing something, the only animation is that little coin from fatebound, havent seen anything from others
They really missed the opportunity to add some flavor and make rogue more interesting.
rogues really just feels like a bullet point blizzard want to cross out as soon as they can and call it a day
These hero talents may be boring, but the cherry on top is rogues damage currently is actually abysmal. You can’t kill shit in pvp.
9:25 who cares if you're locked into an animation for 1 second, at least it's finally a real multi-attack animation for once. Monks need this so badly. It looks cooler than any other rogue ability and you're complaining about it? Other mmos have had this for a decade and wow is finally catching on to "combo" style moves
With what I see in the beta shamans aren’t good too but in a better spot than rogues. Rogues are actually the most hopeless class from all.

Both in terms of class fantasy and how it alters (or well doesn't) your rotation, rogue hero specs must be the worst on a per class level.

as somebody who just starting out rogue, im glad there is a more passive option like fatebound assa.

It’s such small increases on damage and speed that the ramp sucks. The finishing strikes tonLESS that white damage.

Surely they could remedy Deathstalker for Assassination by just changing it to 'Shiv applies a Deathstalker's Mark'.... I get that they want it having the 'from the shadows' thematic. But not all assassins use stealth. They could be right next to you and just - Shiv! It's a cool feature but limiting it to Ambush and not including Blindside? Nah
deathstalker is rather weak in my eyes and i dont think it will work as how they may think it should be.
for me i am not sure if i play sub or assa next expansion, both has pros and cons

Rogues hero talents tree abilities are laughable. Absolutely useless.
I'm glad that rogue class and spec talents are good because the hero talents are trash. The only one I am mildly excited to play is Deathstalker and it seems to have some real problems. The fact that your mark is lost when a mob dies is mind-boggling. You're just going to lose your mark halfway through a pack and have no decent way to get it back, especially as Assassin. At least Trickster isn't utter dog shit now that Unseen Blade isn't tied to Feint, but I still have no desire to play it or Fatebound.
as an assa main in pvp this really sucks. Taking away shadow dance and forcing us to use vanish as an offensive ability feels horrible. Then a hero talent tree that makes us open with ambush which we also never do in pvp......this is very poorly thought out for rogues sadly.

😂they do everything but scale damage properly for the large health pools they give us in pvp im not touching TWW pvp until they fix it i dont wanna fight people with 11mil+ health in pvp and everything i do does up to 600k damage and all my aoe ticks do 20k+
Shamans are getting all the attention now because everyone knows they have been ignored, but I low-key feel rogues might be the biggest losers of the beta so far and I do not even play one
I can tell you before watching they are all underwhelming and boring compared to others and both hero talents for Sub have AOE build in your single target rotation.
These talents really are lackluster and boring 😢
it's "coup de graCE" you HAVE to pronounce the last word as "grass" in english or else it actually doesn't mean the same thing.
