Trecherous Strait

Ben and Lynn Cropp journey through the Torres Strait to discover it's bloody past - when shipwreck survivors had to run the gauntlet of headhunters in a vain effort to survive this wild yet romantic group of islands between Papua New Guinea and the north coast of Australia. Present day native islanders are proud of their past and celebrate their traditional songs and dance and still live a life embraced by their land and the sea. Three windsurfers make an epic journey from Australia to Papua New Guinea across the Torres Strait.
