I highly appreciate you Hawk for putting your visual input controller on the left side so people like me can try to understand how to be better in certain situations during a fight 😄🔥 Thanks!
Yo these are so much better than trying to watch those Nintendo Wii days of BT3 matches lol….but good stuff Hawk loved seeing that super explosive wave dodge
@@THEGrandMasterHawk Question was BT3 always this fast or is this a modded version or something? I knew it was faster than RB but even characters like Guldo and Dodoria got fast rush strings here
@@THEGrandMasterHawk Oh ok I see, I also peeped SZ the characters rush speed doesn’t seem big of a difference depending on the character….I wonder if I’m a like that or not but they haven’t shown too many past slow characters for me to see how they move in that game
7:49 yeah that’s the first thing i learned about high level play is you shouldn’t use these extensions against a human unlike the CPU. even moves like heavy finish & rolling hammer etc are unsafe during a rush string, but the essence of high level play is really mixing up the timing & sneaking those moves in at unlikely moments
I'm #1 in NA & one of the reasons for that, besides my vast knowledge base & skill sets, is the fact that North Americans have never given Tenkaichi 3 a fair chance. As of late we do have good contenders but nobody yet that can give me competition except Creatful Chaos, the #2 NA player, who's just as great in his own right & shouldn't be downplayed. There are other players in South America & EU as well.
The biggest issue is that everyone who showed up recently mostly did it because of Sparking Zero, not because they wanted to give Tenkaichi 3 a second chance. 😭
I got that impression. I wondered how you felt about that because I can tell you're someone who pours their soul into the game. Which isn't to say that I'm not hype for Sparking Zero. Only that I sympathize. Definitely will be watching more of your videos. You're amazing. I'll be glad to pick up whatever I can from your playstyle. Here's hoping the appreciation and following for Budokai Tenkaichi 3 continues to climb.
It annoyed me greatly but at least people are recognizing now how much depth Tenkaichi 3 has. The other issue is a brand new issue that stems from this; people are now comparing Tenkaichi 3 to Sparking Zero & saying if SZ doesn't have any of what BT3 has, then it will fail or they won't buy it. The thing is, SZ is a modern game & things can change; if there's enough demand, the devs might just make the changes etc. Thank you. 🙏
Thank you. No, I'm not really trolling; playing online we have something called buffer, which we increase by 1 depending on the ping & it's divided by 15. I think Asura's ping was roughly around 60 so I had to set the buffer at 4, and the higher the buffer is the more input delay you will have. So, each time he got me in a combo it was just me missing the Z Counter.
You can practice them in training mode against Super Buu but if you have a good PC, I can give you a better method until my guide comes out. Let me know what you're playing on, assuming you do want to practice them.
@@THEGrandMasterHawknot the same person but could you let me know too? I’ve got a good PC (RTX 2080S, i7700, 16gb ram etc) and I really wanna get perfect smashes down consistently
If you have dolphin & everything setup properly, you want to go dolphin, Options - Hotkey Settings - Save & Load States. From here, bind a key to save a state, and bind another key to load that saved state. Once you've done that, go into training, and practice to your heart's content w/ the character of your choice. Do it both in regular state, and in Sparking! mode, because in Sparking! mode you will be on Peak Momentum, and your charge time will be quick until Sparking! mode runs out.
@@THEGrandMasterHawk Hey Hawk I just wanted to clarify a few things with this. Where exactly am I supposed to save the state in game? I’m assuming you mean loading into training with a chosen character, save it there and load? Isn’t that just the same as me starting a training match anyway? I’m a bit confused on how this works overall.
Here for the GOAT of Tenkaichi 3!!!!!!!
really enjoy these match vods, very comfy to throw on when its late and im trying to sleep lol
I'm hyped to see the T4 Mod gameplay!

That I can agree but I won't lie, Wii matches w/ Giru popping up on screen would be hilariously nostalgic for me. xD
@@THEGrandMasterHawk Question was BT3 always this fast or is this a modded version or something? I knew it was faster than RB but even characters like Guldo and Dodoria got fast rush strings here
We play on the PAL version for a few reasons & it runs 25fps natively, we put it at 120% speed so it runs 30fps natively & we play the game like this.

I am not. xd I am definitely one of them though. Thank you!
How do I make the game speed faster like this
Increase the game speed to 120%.
I only just recently discovered you. Is there a competitive scene you're involved in? Any really good players that give you a run for your money?
