The Chennai Central-Bodinayakanur Superfast Express is a Superfast express train connecting Chennai and Bodinayakanur which lies in Southern Railway zone of Tamil Nadu State in India. This train is now proposed to be extended upto Bodinayakanur via Teni since the gauge conversion of this route was completed. From 15, June 2023 it made its first run from Bodinayakanur to Chennai.

In this video you said that EVEN AT 7.40 Am when Madurai Bodi unreserved Exp Dep time 8.20 Am is being announced your Train is sttill waiting at Madurai JN. The Railways can give a halt for 20 minutes at M,adurai jn. Ajay by the way you have got a good voice. So nicely you sang short songs using Station Names like Usilampatti and Andipatti. I'm a great fan of EMD locomotives as I'm really addicted to their beautiful engine sounds like humming, roaring and notching sounds. I love Bodinayakkanur. I wish that the scenic route from Madurai junction to Bodinayakkanur permanently remains as a diesel train route. Trains running by EMD locomotives is the scenic beauty of this route. Let this scenic beauty permanent forever.

This is the only duronto Ran between mdu-mas but due to high cost this train is converted to ac superfast express..
Not due to high cost, but due to less stops for 500kms, patronage will be less. Cost is also somewhat high compared to other sf express.

Bodi Railway station is a deadend. They will detach the Engin from the boiggis and take the engine to roung rotating place to rotate the engine.Then they will attach the engine to the rest of the boggis for the return Journy.I livied and studied my old third farm school,just for four to five months during 1061.We left for Periyakulam because my fther was working in the Govt.Ravenue department,as Thasildar at Periyakulam where I continued as Eighth standerd school boy.Now I am living at Tuticorin and my age is 77.May God bless us all.
