    Got my versa SR in October of 2019 love it for my first car, I put a sound system and sub and have kept up to date with my engine oil changes, I need to read the manual and check for the cvt transmission oil change. It has 22k miles on it now and it’s been almost 8 months. No problems so far it barely stays parked at the house lol with that many miles on it now, but hey that’s what a car is for and Nissan did a fantastic job with the fuel economy efficiency. Hope with Regular maintenance it’ll last a long time and hope these new cvt transmission are better now and hope this gen loses the bad reputation😬

      Congrats on the new car Francisco! 🎉 I'm glad to hear your Versa SR is being driven regularly with little to no problems. We need more reports like yours to keep tabs on late model reliability, so thanks for sharing.

      Final Drive still runs smoothly no new weird noises coming from the engine bay or drive train. Feel like a car runs better if you always have the fluids moving.

      @@FranciscoMartinez-uz9mb How is the car now so far, if you don't mind me asking ? Are you having any issues with your versa sr (cvt issues,etc), aside from regular maintenance of course. I ask, cause I am interested in getting one.

      @@user-wv3jt9xg8x i have 45k miles now I keep up with my engine oil changes every 4K to 5k miles change my engine air filter every time, I’m going to change my transmission oil too along with my engine oil at 46k which is my next oil change still runs smooth and my coolant liquid aswell will be flushed out. I will change my power steering fluid and gas filter out to when I have time. Overall no CVT issues no jerks like the previous CVTS

      @@FranciscoMartinez-uz9mb Awesome, just regular maintenance. I think I'm convinced to get one now. Thanks

    I think Nissan has made some serious improvements to their cvts since the beginning of their inception. As long as you maintain the vehicle and change the cvt fluid when required, these vehicles can definitely last well over 200,000 miles.

    • @FinalDriveshow
      @FinalDriveshow  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, they have. But it's going to be difficult for Nissan to shake their horrible history with CVT failures which caused them to double the CVT warranty to 10 yr/120K for 2003-2010 models. Fingers crossed Nissan has finally put these transmission issues to rest with their latest generation of vehicles. 🤞🏾

      @@FinalDriveshow I agree. And I hope they succeed as I am a huge nissan fan and am currently on my third one with no issues to date.

    I’d take the new Sentra over the versa.

  • @MrAcehadi
    @MrAcehadi 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    You are correct...
    Compare to the previous Versa, it is much better in a large number. The previous Versa is disgusting, the new Versa is bold.

    I really like the V shape of the grill for the Versa, which is odd because I don’t think it looked good on the SUVs. I was wondering what you thought about the new front Nissan logo on the grill? It looks like a sticker in the video and not like their old 3D plastic logos. Anyways, top tier review as always Amos!

    • @FinalDriveshow
      @FinalDriveshow  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, the V-motion grille can be hit or miss depending on the vehicle.
      As far the the front emblem, I’m not a big fan. It’s rather large and looks “fake” as one person put it. Like you said, a sticker. BUT, I give Nissan a pass because it is functional since the ICC radar is hidden behind it.
      Thanks for always watching Adam!

    • @BurntToasters
      @BurntToasters 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Final Drive I had no idea that the ICC radar was hidden in there hahaha

    • @FinalDriveshow
      @FinalDriveshow  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@BurntToasters Yeah, the Toyota Corolla used a similar front emblem design until the 2020 model where they replaced it with a light bar type setup on the SE/XSE.
