      Yea, thats what everyone has done. They try to change the DOJ and fight against it, then they get a brainless response and realize how difficult it would be to actually get change so they just eat the charges and leave the problem for someone else to deal with.

      The problem was there before Soze loaded in and decided to change shxt.. he's not the problem.. he's been in court for the CG case and his own and saw the corruption from there.. he tried in his court case to show them how idiotic the system was and he lost.. tell me how he's apart of the problem again?

    Another angle is to "remove the case" to State court. Being that Treason is a crime against the state not the municipality. Motion the case to remove to state or federal court and possibly introduce a judge that represents one of those. You wouldn't let the city of New York or Philadelphia hold a trial for a Federal or State crime, you would have a state or federal court do that.

    • @mstevens94
      @mstevens94 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Exactly, right up there with the city council making laws on behalf of the State. In the real world, the whole city council would be arrested and charged with treason against the State. I understand there has never been a local government that has also been assumed to be a state government. The only other case is a city-state, but since they are technically an area within a fictional US state. It is hard to argue such localities should have such power. It is ridiculous to have the local government have treason legislation and charges when it is a state or federal charge. Most times, a federal one.

    The DOJ needs to be cleaned out and rebuilt. Crane is a horrible Chief Justice. More than half of the judges are biased af against crims and favor PD. They all predetermine cases before court cases begin, and look for reasons to find defendants guilty, instead of only considering arguments and evidence presented during court. They take calls from cops for charges which isn’t allowed but happens all the time.

      I think he was the Attorney General (which doesn't make sense since the position is State created by a local government). I can understand the District Attorney, but he quit being a lawyer because he got tired of judges making boneheaded rulings that made no sense, among other things. Instead of hearing why it was a wrong ruling and taking responsibility for it, they doubled down and sometimes held him in contempt of court for doing so. The decisions, although he could have appealed. The appeal process would likely not fix the rulings because most judges in the DOJ are biased and incompetent in understanding the law. So Kyle getting burned out on the lawyer RP made sense; why be the sane person in the room when everyone else is talking crazy and nonsensical and does not want to hear constructive criticism and get angry when questioned and punish Kyle for trying to understand their position and explain to them to see the error in their dumb rulings, in his eyes.

    honestly best way to solve this is institute 5 person juries, make it so the judge cannot find people guilty and simply the one handling motions and scentencing as well as civil cases. it should very rapidly improve court roleplay by expanding and allowing jury tampering but also means that even if the judge predetermines guilt they cannot do aanythng about it.

    • @Chriswastaken123
      @Chriswastaken123 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The issue there is that it just becomes 1) crims nearly always tampering with the jury or 2) people mad that jurors don't "value their lives" and find them guilty anyway. Beyond that, barely anyone who watches court cases actually pays attention so it seems like a giant waste of time for 5 people more often than not.

      in a legal filing facts are either determined by teh Judge to be facts or by a jury to be facts, the jury in court cases are the finders of fact, they find someone to be guilty of a crime based on the facts they have accepted. a judge then interpets the law to apply thoose facts they have found and make it so the punishement is fit.

    • @Chriswastaken123
      @Chriswastaken123 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@GGnumba4 but that is exactly how a statement of facts in an American court case works. The prosecution gives their version of events that they will attempt to prove in court. It works the same way in Civil cases except the other side files a response affirming or denying each assertion and then the case becomes about the denied portion primarily.
