I love how you need medipacks to heal. It forces the player to seek more cover instead of run n gunning, because you don't know when you're gonna get your next medipack. It brings more realism in reference to war.

I personally love how they used the medkit system to make you like Zussman more. He's the only one who can consistently give you medkits, and that makes losing him mean more to the player!

Carrying a flamethrower and its fuel reserve on your back is like having a napalm bomb strapped to your back. You're gonna have every enemy soldier trying to hit you in the fueltank. So yeah not for me either.

Fun Fact- Stiles, the guy who wants to be a journalist, was the only guy to make it out of the landing craft from the front; all the other survivors from that craft had gone over the side.

This campaign was fantastic. I especially love how they used the game mechanics to get you to care for your teammates, especially Zussman. Each teammate gives you a different resource or other special function, and Zussman giving health, the most valuable resource, makes you care a lot more about him a lot faster.
Edit: heh. By mission 2 he's calling Zussman by name when he needs health.
my most useful character was turner, because he had the ammo and you could find medkits around the map but not much ammo

Emmanuel Rivera the ammo count tells us a lot about how Luke is reacting to situations. Plus, his Granade count is also near his ammo count

Not gonna lie, this game has an amazing campaign & I have played each & every Call of Duty game to date.
It was one pulsating thrillride from start to finish. One of my favourite campaign of this decade.
(Never a fan of Multiplayer & Zombies, so I don't mind if those areas were poorly executed)
Pretty sure Luke is gonna enjoy the game very much too.

I really think is very forgiving but it’s a feel good story. I just wished it was less Hollywood and more unforgiving gore ww2 like WaW. Still a good campaign

I had an absolute blast playing the campaign. Just didn't like the tank section but overall an awesome experience.
Ahh, I'd say it doesn't quite stand up to the campaign from WAW. But, yeah it has it's moments. Just wish it had darker moments like World At War did.

This story is SO well put together. Graphics really put that terrible time in history into perspective. Beautiful game.

This game's pretty fun until you realise that the game won't progress unless you push, but you can't push because they constantly spawn enemies that have aimbot if you're on the hardest difficulty, if you aren't, you literally just run past them and they despawn. And that God damn train scene is just so stupid.

@WELKIN But when you die to, what... 4 shots in WW2 on the hardest difficulty, and they make it so every single enemy focuses solely on you, but also make them be in the best cover and even allow them to shoot over the cover, that's just bad game design. They know that if they didn't make the enemies sit in the best cover 24/7 and then instantly respawn 5 more enemies as soon as that one dies, the game would still be too easy. And about your character having 100% accuracy, that depends on the players, and the enemy A.I. are also given 100% accuracy anyway.
I don't mind games making you push to make enemies stop spawning either, but they shouldn't respawn immediately and go straight into the cover I just killed the last guy at, they could make the A.I. sneak around, they could make some charge at you, but you shouldn't be every single enemies main focus, they shouldn't hit 100% of their shots.
And having the opposite, would be fine, you have a pre-determined amount, you can have the amount that are there, then the amount that will come back as reinforcements, if you decide to sit there and kill all the enemies, they shouldn't continue to infinitely respawn more and more enemies, with aimbot and grenade spam.
I still play this game often. The campaign was very different than all the others I’ve played, and personally more interesting. I also like the history behind it vs. our modern day like campaigns in MW. This has to be my favorite one for sure.

Here's some advice mate: 1. if there is a flamethrower avaliable GET IT 2. shoot at heads 3. the little red thing above some ones head means you've killed em 4. there is things you can collect in the game
Amazing graphics, (although rip to the cut scene audio often being off, it was like that in my playthrough as well), amazing sound, amazing soundtrack, and great personal story. Wish it could have told more of the fronts of WWII though. Trying to not spoil anything but also wish the game wasn't so reliant on scripted, over the top on-rails sequences. But man, some of the missions are extremely unique and are worth the whole game. One mission in particular really stands above the crowd that you'll get to about half way through I think.
If you like the manual healing aspect of WWII, you'd love Specialist difficulty in IW (have to complete the game once through though to unlock it).

I also think that the Campaign is good, but it was a little too cliché, and it was pretty dissapointing that it was only about the Americans VS the Germans, it's called a "World War". There are so many countries to choose from
After two years of playing cod ww2, it was only a few days ago that I learnt that you can actually purchase loot boxes, and not just earn them in game

@@SeaGLGaming I pushed through this one mission after about 2 hours. You're stuck in bunkers and endless enemies come and you have to put 2 satchels on the back of 2 tanks while killing of enemies galore. Dunno about you but that really body sucked on veteran
5:00 hearing the song "Well Meet again" in the background made this scene 10 times better.
Try playing infinite wafare after this, i'll tell it's one of the best campaign in the whole series

D-Day fun facts:
The USS Texas was the only battleship to hit its target on D-Day even though the fortifications were out of range. The captain ordered the crew to flood a section of the ship so that the entire ship would tilt to one side, thus giving the guns the elevation they needed to hit the target.
Like Stiles, photographer Robert Capa who was 30 at the time, was sent by Life Magazine to cover D-Day. He was sent in on the first wave and upon landing, took cover behind a pole and start photographing madly with bullets and mortars landing around him. The man miraculously survived and took 106 photos in 90 minutes. The photos were then sent to the London office to be processed. Unfortunately, a technician responsible on processing said photos made a panicked mistake and all but 11 blurry pictures were gone.
