Shuhua initially didn’t want lines because her pronunciation in Korean wasn’t good and netizens openly mocked her for it. But that was years ago. Now she mainly doesn’t get lines because she’s a sub vocalist and they never get many lines anyway. I think the most impressive thing in this for me about Shuhua is how close she is to sounding like Soojin in the parts she has taken over from her. They all sound so good. To answer your question regarding K/DA Pop/Stars and why Madison Beer was with (G)I_DLE. Was due to a promotional event via Riot Games when League of Legends was promoting new in-game skins for League of Legends during Worlds 2018 (e-Sports event for League of Legends) which was hosted in South Korea that year of 2018. Riot Music Team was searching for talent on both Korean side and American performers. They chose Soyeon and Miyeon as the two members for the Korean vocalists and Madison Beer and Jaira Burns for the American vocalists, (It's fun to note that (G)I-DLE was brand new to the K-pop scene at the time). And thus Riot Music Team created a BANGER of a song at the same time they were just promoting a skin line for their game. The music video (made by Fortiche the same company that brought us Arcane is what captured everyone in, along with the catchy song and it's amazing visuals) The production value of the music video and song was a gigantic success and continues to break song chart records to this day. So if you weren't around during the month of November 2018 era of K-pop. This song was not only a huge song in South Korea, but also globally. As League of Legends has the effect of being a global game / e-Sport, it got plenty of retention from across the globe. Hope that about sums it up for you :P
"It's all about what a singer can make you feel." --- Agreed. Vocal runs, powerful belts, high notes are incredibly important tools for a singer, but they shouldn't be the sole focus. The best songs are the ones that make you feel something. Like, what's the point of a love song if you don't convey the feelings of being in love, y'know? Shuhua, and Idle as a whole, are really great about doing that. They don't really flex their vocals to show off, but instead are all about doing what works for the song and its meaning.

In Dumdi Dumdi cube didn’t want to release it because they believed it was going to be a flop. But Soyeon convinced them by taking full responsibility if it did. And the rest is history.

I'm kinda mad that they skipped over Shuhua's lines in Oh My God in this and instead only gave her Soojin's lines. Shuhua tries to make her voice sound like Soojin's, which it can't, and this is no hate to Shuhua, I love her and she's my bias wrecker, but she doesn't have the same sultryness that Soojin did so imo, skipping over her own lines, lines that she'd feel more comfortable singing because their hers would've made her have a better time and make it sound better overall. I also love her lines in Oh My God. They could've just started up Oh My God at Soyeon's rap instead of Soojin's part and not have to skip an entire section of the song that takes place in the 2/3 of the song they picked.
