A FAMILY has become used to turning heads while driving their fleet of 10 bumper cars on California’s roads. In this week’s episode of Ridiculous Rides, vehicles are taken from the amusement park to the open roads. Tom Wright, a builder, used his engineering skills to transform the fairground rides. Acquiring the first car, finding the right components, making the frames and sending the bodies for paint took a year to complete. All this hard work was worth it at the end though, when Tom takes the 10 bumpers for a spin with friends and family. “The smiles, waves and the honks make the hobby worth doing.”

It was just a sarcastic rip on California life and how marijuana is supposed to spark fun ideas out of nowhere. It seems to me that where these two ideals may intersect is where one may find something along the lines of street legal bumper cars. That Cali car culture is another part of my scenario, like nowhere else in the world. Did mean to offend ya. I don’t use alcohol or tobacco, my drugs of choice are caffeine & sugar. I know it’s bad but Redbull is so yummy when it’s super chilled. I limit to under 20oz a day now after an incident.

Not registered in California in Arizona you can register a wheelbarrow and get a license plate. It’s not all as it seems.

Kinda messed up you have to have a "clean idle" certified diesel to have a street legal diesel truck. But you can run a bumper car legally. Makes a lot of sense California

You would be the type to go out of your way to get them off the road. You wouldn't even think anything of it. It's none of your business how others want to live their life. You do realize motorcycles dont have roll bars, right. If people decide to live a certain way and something happens it's their own fault. That's what growing up is all about. FYI, I built these cars and the license plate on the military car is actually ARMY HQ. Which stands for Headquarters.
