This is the first album from a series of five that will feature remastered renditions from all the Castlevania Games from the NDS and additional games, next comes Portrait of Ruin + Bloodlines!
As many of you may notice, if we compare this over the first launch of Dawn of Sorrow Remastered from 2021 the improvement is huge!
I have added some bonus tracks from familiar games that you'll love for sure!
I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed doing it, it took a very long time to be finished compared with the Advance collection, the next volume will launch on early April 2023!

Makes sense bloodstained got the bonus tracks. It's basically a third "of sorrow" game.

The way you capture the original piece but in this sense of "HD", almost like the "this looked better when I was a kid" meme. It's incredible. This is what I think one would imagine an "uncompressed" version of the OST would sound like. Please keep up the fantastic work!

Wow, this threw me back to when I was 10 years old playing Dawn of Sorrow on my uncle's Nintendo DS at home. Incredible work on this remake, nice gameplay segments too!
Also, the sound is sooooo crisp and clean compared to your original remake in 2021. You've clearly been practicing a lot and it shows.

I'm really happy to share the same feeling as you, this game was also very important to me and that's the main reason as why I do this in the first place, I really LOVE all the process as I can feel how the original compositors felt when producing those masterpieces, for my it feels like touching their hearts directly haha.
I'm working hard in the next albums so you bet it will have the same care I put into this one :D.
Hermano, solo puedo decir que suenan brutales, si conociera algun mod solo para incluir musica a una rom de castlevania te aseguro que lo usaria con esta musica. Suenan como una mejora de la original, es increible como mejora sin alterar tanto la musica que la haga irreconocible.
My one criticism I have about the new remakes is that when listening with speakers the sound is a bit tinny like I'm listening to them through an old TV.
Overall, the quality of the sound seems a lot better than your original verson. Well done.

I just can't ignore the music Yamane-sensei composed for it haha, is perfect for the DS style instruments.

This time, I see the title in Japanese (is this an automatic translation on TH-cam's side? Sorry if it is).
In Japanese, this title is called "蒼月の十字架" (青い月→ 蒼月, meaning something like deeper blue).

It was pretty hard to make it as close as the outstanding job made by Yamane-sensei in the original game's trailer. That long lost beautiful "The Pinacle" arrangement we Castlevania fans have been starving for years, is pretty hard to reach the same level of detail but I tried my best!
Amazing stuff, especially fond of Scarlet Battle Soul and Pitch Black Intrusion, but bonus in the form of Galleon Minerva was absolutely amazing!

This was an amazing remaster of the CastleVania: Dawn of Sorrow Remastered OST from 2020. The instrument's are far beyond better, Compared to the 2021 version you've done.
Every track was remastered with such good amount of work & effort. And you sir done an amazing job, Looking forward for the 2023 remaster of CastleVania: Portrait of Ruin & CastleVania: Order of Ecclesia in April.
Plus the added CastleVania: Bloodlines remastered OST.

Great work once again! Naturally the first track I listened to was Condemned Tower since it's my favorite song from the game, really like the sounds in this remastered version. Keep up the good stuff coming...!

Well, just like the previous version, this sounds very nice. I can hear now that there were room for improvement over the previous versions, after all, at least for a couple of compositions. I especially like that "Scarlet Battle Soul" now sounds better than the original, even though previously it sounded worse. So, I much appreciate this.

I can definitely hear some creative liberties throughout the soundtrack. It's real good, but unlike your OoE work, you kept original DoS OST worth listening.
For real, your work on Order of Ecclesia is still your best. It made the original, for the most part, obsolete.

That's right! But I would also like to note that both "Condemned Tower" and "Cursed Clock Tower" were initially intended to sound like that! If you data mine the sound engine from the original games, that "bell" instrument (The Celesta) is actually there, but with the volume all the way down! So I wanted to restore how the music was intended to sound according to the composers, which maybe disabled that instrument and added the octave piano as the DS speakers where so weak to do it correctly :D.
In the future, I have plans to make another kind of remasters, using this same method but I will keep the original instruments, so it stays closer as the originals, something similar to what some people do with some SNES and GBA games.
