You'll see in their solo videos that Hwa'sa is in WheeIn's videos and WheeIn is in Hwa'sa's videos as cameos because they're besties. Also unfortunately yes, Hwa'sa gets a lot of shit for everything she does it's like she has a dedicated army of anti's that just want to hate on her. But she perseveres and proves time and time again that she is one of the best out there and a strong powerful beautiful woman. Some people just have hate in their heart that can't be changed, luckily Hwa'sa has good friends like WheeIn, Solar and Byul in her life.
As they say, when you whee-in, you can't whee-out.
For the same reason, Wheein is just like jumping into my pocket and I'm not complaining😊

Wheein had blue hair during the promotions for Hip. Hip was co-written by Hwasa and is their response to all the hate and malicious comments that they constantly receive. It's a combo of a diss track mocking the haters and a message song encouraging everyone to do their own thing and respect others for their uniqueness. MMM has been on a campaign against internet bullying since Hip and several of Hwasa's solo songs address the topic in a personal way.
The song you asked about during Hwasa's intro is called Kidding. It's a b-side from her solo EP Maria. There are two MVs for the album - the hit title track Maria and LMM (Lost My Mind), which is the best song on the best album of 2020 imho.

Hwasa has several solos, currently her song María won the award for Song of the Year in China, wheein is one of the ones with the best vocal control.
Blue hair wheein probably has its own cult following on twitter. The only era that can compete is blonde short bob Wheein from Easy era. The blue hair is from the HIP which was mmm's biggest comeback thus far, so yeah there is a lot of content from it! It was also during their stint on Queendom, which was a highly popular 2019 girl group competition.

Well Mamamoo compared to other Idols are definitely very short. Even their confident "tallest" member Moonbyul barely reached other idols shoulder. But between each other they often make fun of their height. According to Solar, Hwasa was the one who cared about their height difference which is 1cm. They even made a song (1CM Taller) about dissing each other. Their concerts for 1cm was even more hilarious.
And yes, that was Moon without make up. In fact every mamamoo members are very open in going out publicly without make up. It might not sound much but preserving your idol image is a must in korea. It wasn't easy for them, Solar got called out for destroying mamamoo's image after she didn't wear make up but that didn't stop her. She then filmed herself removing her make up.
And yes, Hwasa is surprisingly the softest and the also Solar's baby.

wheein is mamamoo's baby and more from hwss hwasa is my ultimate bias and all the criticism he receives is because he is someone who does not allow himself to be manipulated by what the extremist Korean society wants, that is to be anorexic or that female idols eat ice, anyway, Hwasa also has her funny moments and her moments of tenderness besides being the most shy of the 4 of Mamamoo, she is not very social 🥺

Wait until you see pink haired Solar, orange haired Hwasa, and silver haired Moonbyul. 😂 Mamamoo "bias" is pretty much impossible and I just love all of them. Often I will see a video or IG post that makes me love a member more than the rest and so that member is my bias for that day. Today it's Solar because I'm still not over the IG picture of her back, showing off her muscles of course, she posted recently.
Wheein is my ultimate bias out of ALL idols and specifically curly blue haired Wheein is the chef's kiss(see the Studio Choom Hip video and the Yu Huiyeol's Sketchbook performance of I Miss You for more info). She's just amazingly talented and low key the most beautiful idol of the 3rd generation. People often say that Wheein is overlooked but that isn't true at all. Wheein just induces what I call "comeback amnesia", which is when you forget how hard an idol hits(vocally, visuals, performance, etc) between comebacks and it feels like you're seeing them for the first time each comeback. Handong is the comeback amnesia queen for Dreamcatcher. 👀 Unlike the other members of Mamamoo, Wheein doesn't have any personal brand sponsorship deals or any standing engagements like Moonbyul's radio show, Solar's YT channel, and Hwasa's many couture brand endorsements AND her appearances on I Live Alone. So when promotions end Wheein effectively disappears and posts on IG maybe twice a week at best. Wheein stans actually have time to miss her and anticipate what she'll do next! That is so rare in K-Pop and I appreciate it.
I guess that’s something to do with Wheein not really searching out the spotlight, at least not as much as the others, and I totally get that! Having people all up in your business al the time must be stressful
@@SinghReacts I love when she posts picture of Ggomo because he's adorable and because so many people get mad about it. Like, why can't she post pictures of things that make her happy?! She's a great photographer btw and has gotten some amazing pictures of her baby boy. 😂 Hwasa actually posts less than Wheein but somehow people get madder when Wheein doesn't post anything for a while. There's a huge expectation for Wheein to put out a solo album in the next few months, as Mamamoo's contract will be done in June and only Solar and Moonbyul have re-signed with their label. In reality this makes a group comeback more likely than any solo albums but stans won't listen and insist "Wholo" is coming soon.

@19: 30 YES those are real comments, especially (mostly) from one specific fandom. You can see that in stan twt. Most of the time when their idol messes up or there is something happening that they don't like they always connect it to Hwasa.

...lets see if this one stays short... i'll try to skip over some of my usual comments on this particular video, but you can easily see that one of hwasa's feminist battles is body positivity and loving yourself. and it's a huge one that is very much needed
three of the four members have tattoos. i believe at last count, wheein had 12, moonbyul and hwasa each had 6, though there's a chance at least one could have gotten something since then. and wheein is definitely getting a tattoo next month, to celebrate the release of her new album (she gets one for each solo album). all of their tattoos tend to be either text or otherwise reasonably small and easy to hide since it's still against broadcast rules to show tattoos on korean tv and, while that often gets waived for male idols/actors, women with tattoos tend to still get looked down upon as 'unfeminine'.
all their tattoos are personal, whether it's words they want to live by or never forget, family portraits or something they designed themselves to celebrate a solo release. as the video points out, two of hwasa's tattoos are shared with wheein, but two of her other tattoos are also shared tats. she's got one she shares with a circle of friends from high school (that wheein wasn't part of) and another one shared with the woman who was intended to be the fifth member of mamamoo but left of her own volition shortly before the group debuted. (this woman is still friends with all four, particularly solar and hwasa)
wheein actually is exceptionally shy and quite reserved until she feels comfortable around people, then she just lets loose and becomes the puppy we all know and adore. part of this has to do with her home life growing up (only child, father abandoned family when she was young), part of it from ridiculous stuff from knets (koreans online) any time she tried to share things early on in the group's career (she used to talk about the boy group seventeen a lot, as an example, until people complained she 'promotes them more than her own group and needs to stop being a fangirl'). she's also got anxiety issues and took a few months off from performing/promoting back in 2019, starting with their kcon appearance in l.a. (which saddened me, i only got to see three of the four live, since it was my first kcon). that period was when both the scene of her in the red outfit asking the camera to stop following her and the one of her with the bunny cake where she says she should stop being a celebrity are from. the red outfit was their 'queendom' performance of aoa's "good luck", about the only promotion she did while on hiatus, the rabbit cake was when she visited moonbyul at one of the music shows she was promoting her solo "eclipse" on
and, despite saying i wouldn't talk about hwasa's body positivity stuff and the ridiculous hate she's gotten for absolutely no reason... it's happening anyway
all four members of mamamoo get a lot of crap for virtually no reason and there's a lot of stuff either totally made up or twisted beyond recognition that's put out about them. people seem to think that because they're not from one of the big agencies they're a fair target and they've basically become stan twitter's punching bag... which is saying a lot considering how much ridiculous hate basically every artist gets. mamamoo gets more than virtually all of them and hwasa gets even more than the other three members combined
south korea's beauty standard for women has always basically been relatively short (but not too short!), rail thin and pale... hwasa only has one of those three going for her. pale skin is often associated with affluence and the ability to stay out of the sun all day (from nobility back in the day) while darker skin is associated with peasants and laborers, those who have to do manual labor to earn a living. if you notice when hwasa's talking a bout the petition to kick her out of the group, the lady next to her looks really serious and nods along. she didn't have the so-called weight issues hwasa deals with but she's also gotten a lot of hate for being 'too dark to be an idol'. as well as 'not feminine enough'
this standard has slowly been changed or, more specifically, expanded in recent years, a large part being attributed to hwasa. she's far from the only one pushing for it, of course, but since she's become so well-known and risen to be so famous in korea despite not meeting the expected standards, she's very much become a main focus on it. it helps that a lot of male idols and actors have been saying she's their ideal type, so fans of other groups start to become more accepting, though there's still a long, long way to go for that in general (she also gets a lot of hate from fans of those same groups who get upset that their idols admit to thinking she's pretty). her constant 'i do me' attitude and the fact that so much of her music, both with the group and solo, is about self-acceptance, self-love and female empowerment also plays a huge part into her role as one of the leaders of this slow change
