Very true! But I think it also comes from a lack of a good father in the home growing up. If you don’t have any point of reference about what a good man is like, it’s hard to know. I do think older women can teach these values to younger women but it’s not quite the same as having a dad who treats mom really well.

Samone ain't going nowhere. She will give Darnell another chance. In fact, she will even get knocked up "again" by him. Why? Because both, actually, do not want to end the relationship. They have too much invested (e.g., children; time) into the relationship to give it up. And, notice how he has been "looking" at her during the entire court proceedings. He still finds her extremely sexy and attractive (same with her) to give each other up. What I am finding interesting, and disturbing, is couples come to Divorce Court expecting Judge Toler to ""tell"" either the man or woman to stop a particular bad habit(s). When, in truth, the man or woman should already know the deal BEFORE having children with that person. Darnell was already irresponsible and having six(6) children "in different states" when Samone met him. And yet she STILL had children with him ---- TWO. He will not stop his addiction to gambling, unless he gets help. And if he is not serious about stopping his addiction, his family will be in peril.

I'm so glad that the judge said what she did about products of single parents growing up impoverished. That's why there is so much celebration when one makes it - they make the news and everything! It's just so true.
My parents are still married, but that came after all of us were born so the stage was still set for us not making it very far. I got through two years of college before I couldn't afford to go anymore but I still have to pay back about $60k in student loans. My brother had the best opportunity of us all because he chose the vocational school path (which is the best option second to a vocational high school) but he threw it away by dropping out a month or two before finishing because he wanted to hang with his so-called friends in our disjointed community (no resources to live somewhere better since no thought went into the way our family formed) and he ended up working in the same warehouse/factory that my father worked in.
I think this is why it is so distasteful and dishonorable for people who are not married to one another to have sex because they are writing out an already established script for their children to struggle in ways that didn't have to be so. Even married people need to be careful if they cannot afford to have children.
I'm starting a "Go Fund Me" account for this beautiful sister. Hopefully we can raise enough money for her to buy some COMMON SENSE, and get the hell away from this BUM...I don't even know her and I'm pissed at her for getting caught up with a loser, and having his kids???? This is one situation that is a regular in our black communities across this country. We have more children out of wedlock, or by multiple partners, then any racial group in this country, almost all of our children have different last names. I might hear some back lash, the truth hurts we need to look in the mirror, this has gone on for generations. Most are having kids just to stay on or leech off the system.

Okay here's the thing, this is very frequent in the black community. Women of other nations other cultures run from dudes like this.
