Like, it is a different story with my new friend who kept on killing us with the cluster, and no, it wasn't on purpose either. We just didn't know the range, but one time, it was being chased by a crusher, and when I saw the red light 5 cm next to me, I said welp shit. And I called him General Shepherd. He said "well in my defense, it is for democracy." But yeah, I hate idiots like that when they see it but still blame you for something like that.
Got kicked from a game last night despite doing most of the objectives…..all because people believe there is still a meta and got mad at me for using the flame thrower

5:32 I had the exact opposite experience where the other players kept dropping airstikes on my location while the enemy was still out of range. Every other minute I hear "CALLING IN AN EAGLE!" And I turn around as a red orb flies through the air at my head and then a red light beam lands to my left

Just been kicked becoz dude walked onto a beam of blue light in his mech which was acquired for 5 second and crashed by a weapon carrying pod.
My first game I called a mech and was having the time of my life.
I then got out to load the SEAF, then got back on and started moving again. Then a new player joined, and rammed into my mech.
Thankfully though everyone just laughed (including me) and we didn't stop making "hot entrance" type jokes lol.

OOF that railcannon not doing jack SHI to the titans i seen to many times. Go for rocket pods. They can at occasions dothe same as the railcannon aka one shot titans, but they have shorter CD and comes with a 3x use before recharge. works against ANY bigger enemy for both enemy factions
Mechs are great socks seeing everyone pleb with them I have had nothing but fun with the boys

5:35 had me rolling! How did those jackasses not see the giant red beacon indicating an incoming stratagem? The hud literally tells you what stratagem it is and how long until impact. Totally their fault for not paying attention.
Had that weird semi-hug happend to me also. L1 thankfully fixed it. Had my son laughing so hard . Tried crawling to even more hilarious image and also managed to sit in the escape pod.
6:00 I’ve literally had this happen. They bomb me recklessly 5 times and the one time I throw down an orbital and they straight up run right at it suddenly *I’m* kicked.
My pals and I got our extract delayed... three bile titans come waltzing over the horizon with a horde and some chargers at their feet. We almost out of ammo at that point... We had one rail gun strike, an eagle strike, and a 500 kg not on cooldown.
They killed the closest titan with the rail gun, and cleared me a path with the eagle. I run into the horde with a 500kg, kiting them all to me. As the chargers rush, and the titans move in to turn me into a kabob, I chuck it at my feet.
My team will never unhear what I said as I got mauled and had a 500kg bomb explode on my corpse moments later.

That guy who got kicked from the game.. yeah, he was in the right there. Like, they had plenty of time to see the big red beam going into the sky and decide not to run towards it. He even verbally asked them why they were running towards it, and they kept on going.

On my first game with a mech, I called another supply next to it and it blew up the mech upon landing... Needless to say, I left this lobby in great shame xD

It would be much cooler if when the chargers charged the mech instead insta killing it maybe being able to out its arms up to block it? Or have a full on push war with it.
So many complaining about the mechs being weak but majority of em are actually blowing themselves up. If a charger or any bug is two feet from you and your choice is use rocket then you get what you get.
You can use mechs to plug up the bug holes. What? You used up your rockets are small trash bugs?

People think mechs are walking tanks , no use them at mid range and they will be powerhouses, try and hug the bugs and democracy will punish you , liberty is unforgiving.

I know your pain. I dropped a cluster airstrike, and the mission had a modifier where it took 8 seconds for that airstrike to land.
Ally, almost every single time I called it, rushed near it, got blown up every time, calls me the braindead, and just before we finish main objective, he kicks me.
Who is deciding who becomes helldiver and who doesnt again? You got 8 seconds to look at beacon and run away and you still dont do it?

Yea the difficulty scaling on the bile titans is a bit rough on 9.) Helldive, really have to clear objectives and patrols as fast as possible to keep bug breaches down, also have figured out most patrols seem to head to where someone was when its spawned. Patrols dont really wander the whole map. So doing objectives fast and staying on the move keeps down on the amount of patrol wandering through whatever youre doing
You can shoulder tackle a charger with the mech. You can tank the charge if it hits head on your mech's side
I love how each ship has a direction from where your stratagems come from north, south, etc.. especially when throwing a 500kg from a high spot into enemies below, and it gets stuck beside me

I have started hating random level 3s.
They are high enough level they think they know everything and kick you the nanosecond they get killed by you, but their so inexperienced that they either walk into my continously firing autocannon and lose a head, or they run into my hellbomb or 380mm.....
Now level 1s just follow you arlund and are usefull lol.
Turning your mech to have they charger hit the side will cause zero dmg to your mech
rely on your stratagems.

Also, what I mean about the “when they rear up it makes headshots less likely to bounce” is that either: A. The armor hitboxes change enough to where the “head” hitbox (sticky part) goes through the armor in theory. Or B. That when the charger’s reared up animation ends and the charger is stationary/static enough to where the stratagem will not deflect.
If you see an exposed leg aim for it. If not then target the head and hope for a good slope while the charger does not have momentum.
Yeah I done some games with level 30 plus when I was level 18 or 19 and wow they were so bad blowing everyone up, dropping stikes on themselves!! such as the 380mm!!! and then same thing happened today with some level 13-17s I was playing with running into strikes after it was called out and you can see the laser targetting ha
3:33 is exactly why I never take 500kg, it's super inconsistent, and higly overrated garbage with puny damage radius. It's so sad I often see even lvl 30+ are picking this trash stratagem, pure waste of a slot.
It's one of the best strategem to kill bt. A lot of people just don't know how to use it well.

2:10 I think the mech was actually killed by the helldiver with an arc thrower. I can see the arcs bouncing to the mech from the charger, and the electricity ignores armor
I still have that issue that keeps me from buying the mech and any upgrades at all. That Willam dafoe face is exactly how I feel.

ive gotten the bug at 4:20. dropped the SSD item to kill some bugs, picked it back up and that happened. SSD disappeared too.
had a game today where they kept dying... and everyone abandoned, so I pressed on solo most fun ive had so far. Nothing like tin cans chasing you all over the map as you complete it.

i didnt have any problems at this point. used them in 6 or 7 missions and zero bugs. apart from the enemies
They do against bugs (mostly) . Automatons just play at "shoot the walker with rockets" though . But yeah , a lot of bugs with the things atm

i had a mission extract terminal glitch into the landing pad. i could interact with it but couldn't see the thing. lucky me got to crack the code with trial and error, by ear, during a swarm. luckily my team was able to hold the line long enough for me to decipher the launch code
I was heartbroken when the mech got destroyed by the meteor because we didn't have access to them yet.

The mechs are such a disappointment, they fold like wet paper at the slightest scratch and the ammo doesn't last more than 5 minutes. Compare that to HD 1 where you could play entire missions inside your mech if you were good with it. I want to believe the game will get better with updates, but the devs are fumbling every single one thus far.
