That’s a pretty complete knee examination but there is a mistake: in the McMurray’s test, the medial rotation of the tibia and foot actually evaluates the lateral meniscus, while the external rotation evaluates the medial meniscus. Just wanted to clarify that in order to make people understand. Btw, thank you and great video - by a colleague.
Love this gentlemen! Great work!
Thank you so much!! 🙏🏼
Fantastic content, thank you for all of this, it’s very much appreciated!
Thank you so much! Really glad you have been finding it helpful!
It would be a delight to see version of this but for the other joints - hip, ankle, shoulder, neck and back.
Thank you so much for this series with Dr Trikha. Khalid you r awesome. Keep up the good work.
Thank you so much!
Awesome and concise presentation. Thank you very much for your straight forward in depth and pleasant introduction of our simple knee function. By the way, my knee still hurts????
This video is such a gem, thanks for creating it! Would be wonderful to have similar videos for the hip, shoulder, etc.

😂😂😂 Thank you so much L! Hope you enjoyed it and that it helped your assessment! 😊😊
Good job
Thank you so much 🙏🏼
Would have been interesting to see how you differentiate between meniscal tear and pes anserine as I remain unsure which one I have
Hi! I would definitely suggest going to visit a Dr or Physiotherapist if you wanted specific guidance on your own symptoms 🙏🏼
straight leg raise test does not rule out patellar fracture. If the patellar fracture is vertical & the retinaculum is intact , the patient can do straight leg raise
Clinical test (lachman) is negative but MRI is showing partial ACL tear
What to do?
Will i recover?
Can MRIs be wrong in acute condition?
Can we get a video covering a Subjective Physical Assessment?
There is one!
Voice should b more clear for non English people really it's great for knowledge
Correction about McMurrays test:
- Internal rotation + Varus = Lateral Meniscus
- External rotation + Valgus = Medial Meniscus
I broke my hip and femur, had two surgeries from two different surgeons, and never had any cheks of any kind...still suffering 2 years later
what is ITB?
Ilio-tibial band 👍🏼
🙏🏿🙏🏼🙏🏻
Thank you!
Sir what is the Patients Height ?
This patient was relatively tall but not sure exactly
This was great. However, at Mr Trikha's age, he really should have learned how to pronounce the letter "r" 😄
Amazing
You are most welcome!!
