Hey everyone! Unfortunately it seems Solofins has gone out of business. I'm hearing from many people who said they ordered fins, but have not received them. However, I am hearing that people are eventually getting their fins. Super annoying. I'm going to continue to try and reach out to the owner and see If I can take over the manufacturing of this fin. I'll keep everyone updated on this pinned comment.
You have improved sooo Much your OWN style, now smoother, timing, awesome even your glide ins with a cutback little drop knee going on. Wow, it's all you!!! & your joy of surfing 🌊
Thanks for bringing that Canzo to San Onofre for me to try. I LOVED it in my Bruce Jones Retro Noserider! It made the board come alive. Have one on order.
My advice to help the fin feel just a bit better on the nose is to have the back of the fin line up with the back of the board. I find that helps hold but still turn well
Hi Brian, thanks for your beautiful videos, just a quick question. what happened to the Canzo fin..? After watching your test here I've decided to order one, but now the website is gone. Did you hear something about it?
I tried a pivot, hated it...couldnt drive board around. Tried 4a... couldnt noseride. Eventually gravitated towards Skvarna Equalizer 10.75 inch. Noserides have been incredible. Locked in control on the nose, but still playful in trim and off the tail. very similar shape to the canzo.
Yes sir! Sorry, your repair didn't make the video. Not cause I didn't have room.. I simply forgot. How could I forget?? Please forgive me.. and let's surf soon. Back from vacation on tomorrow
Fantastic edit! Did I see a flash of you riding a Skin Dog Cherry Picker? If so, what did you think of it vs your Chingona? Again many thanks for the video.
ooOOooo so you brought back a surprise from CA? I'm always sniffing around at innovative board shapes and the Cherry Picker is just that. Totally lookign forward to you comments as you compared it to your Clean Ocean which I'll call more traditional to the CP. What has you loving it ...mainly? And yes NJ is the test bed we all await. Thanks Tony
@@tonydelima5475 Well I borrowed it from a friend in CA, so I didn't take it back with me. But i'd love to get my hands on one over here. I suppose what I loved about it the most was it felt so light and responsive, yet still was a good noserider. But like I said, that was at san onofre.. I gotta test it on our beach breaks haha!
I did get a email from them about 2 weeks ago and it stated this " Aloha Jack, Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately, our small business is not being able to stay afloat in this recession and we're closing doors, for that reason, we're having some delays on delivery. I guarantee that you'll receive your fin. We have the Canzo order finalized, I passing your email to our warehouse responsible who will take care of sending your order. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience." We'll see if ours are delivered. @@JoeSmith-gd8nd
I HAVE A QUESTION!!!!! If I ride goofy and I suddenly decide to go right should I change my stance to regular? Cause I can't pop up regular for some reason, it just does not work for me.
No, always stay goofy and learn how to ride the wave 'backside' . It's hard at first but becomes easier over time. I'm actually better backside than front side now
WTH! I pre ordered this fin with solofins and after multiple attempts at contacting them still nothing… their website (from your description) is now gone… so disappointed
Yep, they're out of business and this has happened to multiple people. However, People seem to eventually be getting their fins. Keep me updated on the status of this. Sorry for the trouble
As soon as i watched your video I Ordered one fin, they got the payment but no news from them, I asked them through email twice but no answers 🤷🏽♀️, it seems like a scam, but i’m not very worried because they talk to you 😅

haha thanks so much!! still a ways to go, but I was happy with a few of my turns latley!
Absolutely LOVE this channel. You are an incredible creator, editor all while being so informative and entertaining.
thanks so much nick!

haha awesome! What size did you go with? I honestly don't even know the size I got. I think it's the 10"
@@LongboardSessions -- 10.5"
Holy heck, I grew up surfing with Cody in Surfside Beach, TX. Very cool to see you referencing him.
oh nice!! Such a good surfer

I'd say that's a good rule of thumb! For this fin to do that , it needs to be all the way up in the fin box lol
Cruising with the Canzo! Great video as always🎉
Thanks so much!

Awesome! A lot of this comes down to the board as well. I believe some fins suit some boards better. Also the waves obviously.
thanks Brian, another great video!!🙌
Thanks !!
Can you please try a D fin, it's such a fun fin to ride on and lets you cruise on a perfect straight line
I'd love to try one! Sounds like a video to me hehe
Justice for the Canzo!

I thought I saw the same would love to see you do a review on this board
Thanks!! Yes, I was on the cherry picker. I think it was a 9'4". Absolutely LOVED IT. However, a test with it in NJ will be the real test for me lol

Have you ever tried a turbo tunnel fin? It sounds like a gimmick, but I actually find it works pretty well 😊
Never have!
Good Stuff!
Thanks!
Have you ever tried the Takayama Halo center fin?
I havent! I'll have to check it out
Thank you for the great video! For a 9' 6'' board, which Canzo fin size would you recommend? 9 1/2 or 10 inch?
Thanks!! I'd go for the 10", but You'd be fine with either
I ordered this fin 3 months ago and I'm still waiting. Seems their website has expired and took my money with them.
Have you got it yet? I know my buddy just got his delivered within the last few days
@@LongboardSessions No I haven’t received it yet. I tried contacting them but their website expired. Maybe you can reach out to them, I’m order #22.
Corrected order #0021
Same here.. think we got ripped off. Website is down and not responding to email. No instagram posts since August,.

Does fin react differently on different size and shape of the board. i.e. narrow tail, short board 8'6, less or more volume, SUPsurf or surfbaord
Oh absolutely. You basically just need to trial and error fins on your board to see what you like

No more Dodger nose with the Canzo!!! It's a must have!!! JK!! 😂Great test dude!! 😜🤙🏽
haha yes!!
Which type of longboard fin would you recommend for small New England beach break for a 9’6 log? Thanks!
Totally depends what you're going for. Greenough 4a is always a good choice. Canzo could work well. Yea, hard to say without knowing your style

Canzo is pre-order no estimated date, any idea ? Edit, turns out this is a scam
Hmm no sorry I'm not sure. You'll have to send them an email to see how long it would take

Yup same here it’s a scam, nice 👍
It says the discount code is no longer available :(
Checking with them now. I'm sure they'll fix it
