    I can't get this to work for some reason... I don't know if it was the paint I was using or what. I love yours though.

    I love your Idea! However, I tried it three times and can not seem to get the consistency of the paint right. The first time I used the paint right from the bottle, the second time my usual 3 parts Floetrol to 1 part paint so mound disappears quickly, and the third time 1 part paint to 1 part Floetrol. Can you tell me what the consistency should be? Thank you so much!

      Thank you so much for watching and giving it a try!
      I used the paint straight out of the bottle, no mixture.
      If you could describe the problem you’re facing perhaps I can better help get the results you want 😊

    Did you prep your canvas before painting?

    • @swampdollstudio
      @swampdollstudio  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi Rosemary! The canvas was bought with a coat of white gesso already on it, I did not do any other prep before starting. If you try this tutorial I'd love to see the results :) Good Luck!

    questa tecnica può essere usata anche su carta o soltanto su tela? Grazie.
    Intendo carta x disegno, acquarello o altro.

      You could even add little faces, arms, hats, sunglasses etc and make it even more fun! Happy painting!

    Do you prepare the canvas with a base coat of paint?

    • @swampdollstudio
      @swampdollstudio  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Sue! No, the canvas is used as is from the store. You want it to be able to absorb the dots a little bit before the swipe, that gives the look of the little “heads”.
      Have fun! I’d love to see how yours turns out 😊
