Meet Engineer Sam Ka Nyambura, a mugithi artist whose journey has been marked by numerous challenges that he has had to overcome. Having lost his father at the tender age of 5, circumstances forced him to grow up in a children's home. Tragically, he also lost his mother, who served as his primary inspiration. From a young age, he had to fend for himself.
Despite facing adversity, he encountered further struggles, including experiencing sexual harassment at work and encountering a life-threatening situation where a gun was pointed at him, leading him to resign from his job.
At one point, he found himself in desperate circumstances, resorting to seeking financial support from older women at a fancy restaurant.
Today, he shares his remarkable journey with us, hosted by Ala-C. He acknowledges the pivotal role played by artists like 90K KA MSOH, TONNY YOUNG, and KAJEI SALIM in his growth within the industry.
