@@freak_5.042 I'm on a 3.625 pulley, 93 pump gas tune but run a 50/50 pump and race gas mix. This past weekend at Ford Takeover, I ran a 6.85 1/8 on only 16° timing and short shifting. A full 18° of timing and correct shifts should get me to 6.5x which is low 10's in the 1/4. I'd be happy with that for this year and shoot for 9's next year.

1.7x 60' is kinda slow for a manual. I went from 1.7x 60's with 3.73 rear gear last year to a best so far 1.51 60 with 4.56 gear this year. I'm sure I'll be able to dip into 1.4x eventually.

Thanks for the video! I’m a newbie and have never been to the track before. I have a C6 Z06 manual with stock tires. I just want to get a feel for the car and have fun. This is a dumb question but I’ve always been concerned about when upshifting if the tires will give out and put me into a spin. Is this something I should be mindful of with my car? When upshifting, is it better to power through it rather than let off the gas a little? I don’t want to offset the balance or spin. Sorry if this seems silly I’m just trying to get a feel for what to expect. I know to let off the gas if I’m going to spin but is this something that happens a lot? I know some of the basics about going around the water but any newbie advice is much appreciated. I don’t want to crash. Thanks!
Not silly at all. I have done both... let off and powered through. It's all in the feel of the car. My advice would be to shift normally on your first couple passes. Get a feel for the track and any possible "grooves". Feel how the car tracks and if there are any bumps in the surface. There's a lot going on during a pass, so take things slow. Once you get a feel for everything and are more comfortable being out there, you can get a little more aggressive. There's a lot to learn, but just go out and have fun your first time. Don't put any undo stress on yourself. Talk to other drivers and get their take on it. Also, try to have someone film your passes. It's a good way to associate what you feel inside the car with what's going on outside. Like I said though... have fun!

You can even make passes at different pressures to see if it helps or not. If it were me, I'd make the first pass with no changes. Run it as the car is and then decide if changing anything may help. Always good to have a solid baseline to track progress with the car.
did you ever figure out the cruise control issue for the t56? im about to put mine in and all this no cruise control talk is scaring me lol even lund said it probably wont work

The 2nd pass was at 16 psi. I may need to lower it a tad, but with only two junk passes it's hard to judge what the car needs.
