Another short and sweet. This watch is literally the perfect tool watch, including the quartz movement. I had zero desire to get a vintage style military watche, but you and a couple other reviewers are really changing my mind. I’m eyeing the Baltany W10 that is on sale for a damn good price right now. Thanks again for the great review!
Absolutely agree. I liked the white lume version so much I bought it before the sale! On a brown leather strap it looks superb. Thanks for the review !
@HonestWatchReviewsHWR yes, my eyesight requires me to have a legible dial, I cant read time on watches with dots and lines, so I am inclined to get your version because it might have a better contrast. But I could only find reviews for the other one, so thank you again
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR I went for the one - similar to yours but with yellow indices. I was seriously considering the white indices version. I was worried because the yellow in the pictures looked a bit too bright, but I can report that the yellow is muted and subtle. With a beige light brown vintage strap, it should look great. I like your watch also very much.
These are SO good! I have the fauxtina version and the lume is decent…green in color. Love the case finishing for this price. Crystal is super crisp, too.
@HonestWatchReviewsHWR I am loving it, I posted several pics of it on a waxy green leather strap on the Chinese Watch subreddit. Lume is ok but not great, I expect the white one will be a little better.
Militado makes some great watches! They are relatively inexpensive so I have the ML05 (38mm) & ML07 (36mm). Like you said, Great grab and go pieces. Great review!
Nice. I was looking at buying the Hamilton 'Cooper' day date. One on watchfinder for 605 that disappeared as soon as their sale started...possible 150 off. 435 is a steal And now my water pump has started throwing out coolant 460 quid fix. A zeeero new watches for me. Not even a 60 quid Murph
When the Murph 38mm came out, I loved it, but £800 for a watch with that movement, no thanks. I agree, this Militado is the best homage so far, the vh31 keeps the case slim, and the hands are spot on (unlike the Escapement Time). I chose the fauxtina, just for the look, other reviewers say the lume is usable, but not great. I completely agree about dial text, it ruins many nice watches.
@HonestWatchReviewsHWR To my eye, the hour hand looks ridiculously short, and I'm not sure but they may be painted white, because they look very bright against the dial. The Militado hands look just right to me anyway.
I own one and find it to be bland. That’s the best descriptive term for it. It’s a watch that has the specs at a great price but doesn’t deliver. On the other hand the ML07, w/ Sapphire, is the perfect watch for a child. Or if you prefer smaller watches in general. My son loves his and wears it daily.
