McDonald's in Ruins #2 Smithfield RI

Back in the mid-2000s, most of the old 70's era McDonald's restaurants with the brick facades and mansard roofs were either being heavily remodeled, demolished and replaced with entirely new buildings, or closed outright and sold off to entrepreneurs or developers.
The one featured in this video at 445 Putnam Pike was demolished and replaced in 2007. www.mcdonalds....

I had a few Mcdonald's that looked like this where I live that survived through the 2010s and got a remodel in that decade, but only been 2 that survived the remodeling phase. the first one is a chevron gas station combo and one is a play place McDonald's. I wish one day I could go to one or the other a last time before they get demolished and turned into the bland corporate-themed McDonald's

I'm not a fan of the current McDonald's restaurant design either. They wanted to compete with Starbucks and expanded their coffee menu, but it didn't quite work.
