VENEZIA - ACQUA ALTA dI Ottobre 2012

L'alta marea a Venezia è detta "Acqua Alta", sconvolge ripetutamente la Città inei periodi
di Ottobre e Novembre. Sabato 27 ottobre 2012 la prima sostenuta Acqua Alta della stagione.Un'inebitabile sopportazione per i veneziani e un modo originale per Foresti
e Turisti di visitare Venezia "con un bel pediluvio"

I was rambling around there somewhere. Wandered into it coming from the main train station from Mestre.The reason for the proposed movable sea barrier blocking the lagoon from the Adriatic. Still love the city....

観光の初日、私たちはここにいました。急きょ長靴買って観光しました。一部入場不可でしたが、貴重な経験をしました。１０日後位にこの日の倍以上の水位だったようで、観光は出来なかったそうです。息子夫婦と２組四人で楽しい旅行のスタートでした。

The water is cold, but not icee, I live in Venice when I am in a hurry I go barefooted, so far I never
had reumatic complains because of my strollings in this cold water ( I am late 40ies years old).
Venice is amazing during the floods, but I live in an upper floor apartment, those who live at ground level suffer damages from these, almost every year, floods.

@@creators144 If it were as cold as snow nobody would walk barefooted in such water, actually it only feels cold at the very beginning as you go on walking it doesn"t feel cold at all.
To most people it is a unique type of fun, sort of special, very Venitian, experience.
Sea water takes a long time to become really cold, in Venice it gets at its coldest by January till March.
