- To help new signings Josko Gvardiol & Mateo Kovacic settle into life in Manchester, we treated them to some Croatian cuisine as they discussed the success of Croatian footballers in the Premier League and their hopes for the season ahead.

As personal who has been to Croatia many times, Croatians are great people. So chilled, friendly and funny and welcoming. These guys are an example of this.

Kovacic haven’t shown any of his innate quality though. We need him get back to his prime ASAP because our midfield looks so weak right now.

Apart from being great footballers, Pep has the canny knack of picking players that fit into the ‘family’ of the club
The slogan of Croatia national team is “FAMILY”.
That’s part of their character & they fit perfectly in City.
I notice they get the most recent ones with pairs as well to help ease them into the squad and open up - josko & kova, maxi & juli, sergi & akanji, doku with kdb, nunes with bernie and ruben. Probs my most fave trait of the group is how homely it feels 💙

2014 Pellegrini said the owners wants a " Holistic approach to football " they certainly have achieved that. Nearly every player to pass through the door are so humble and respectful too. Its amazing to see as a city fans for nealry 30 years.
