my surface pro 7 has a problem with multitouch and pen. I replaced both the screen and the touch board but it still doesn't work properly. Could it be a flat cable problem? Currently only single touch works

can you replace the battery? I think surface pro 7+ cannot replace, that is bad design.
Hi. Is there a trick or technique to remove the screen from surface pro 7 plus without damaging the screen? For example when changing the battery or repairing anything inside the tablet? All the videos I watched on TH-cam seem like everytime the screen is removed is not usable any more , because of marks and scratches

Hello! Have you ever replaced the battery? How hard is it?
I've tried twice. I've gotten the broken screens off in one piece. nothing shows any warnings or errors in device manager. After installing the new screen, on both tablets I've tried, I get device_power_failure for the intel precise touch and stylus device, as well as the front and back cameras, and of course touch doesn't work.
Probably too late, but I've got the same issue. After MUCH sleuthing, that little L board (plugs into the short cables directly from the LCD) i *think* needs new "electrically conductive glue". Look closely at the area that is "stuck" onto the new/old display; it's copper, and is supposed to ground out on the metal lcd backplate!
I am literally in the middle of this. Pls, if ya get this, reply in a few days to see if my thing solved it?? Unless you've already moved on lol
