Omg! That freeze right in the beginning where the birds went everywhere you didn't know where to shoot so you didn't... Hilarious!!! Nearly pissed myself!
Really like your videos. My Springer talks to me a lot like Gunner, but now that we're both getting older he's a bit more accepting of my misses. Our bird season in NZ finishes in a couple of weeks. The long wait for the next season is tempered by the trout season starting a couple of days later.
Come to the US and give it a try. Its easy and lots of public hunting areas. I watch some fly fishing stuff from NZ. Looks great. Just did a nice float trip down the Green River in Utah. Caught about ten 20" browns.
@@uplandwild4136That's good fishing. I have a young mate in Texas who hunted with me here for a couple of weeks 3 seasons ago. He's a great shot. I might have to go over and hunt with him for a couple of weeks. He mostly hunts ducks though.
Look like an amazing time where at in south west Kansas have you had the best luck? I am from alabama and in college and me and my roommates are planning and public land trip. Looking for any tip sir.
I haven't been this season yet. Im planning a trip in a couple of weeks. Ive heard really bad reports this year because of the drought and that farmers have cut the CRP for hay. This may not be the year to start. It's going to be rough but Im retired and have a number of spot that I'll try. But its a really bad year from what Ive heard from land owners.
I see a lot of videos where people are praising their wall banging mutts. All the while dropping or not retrieving at all and some are Labs redisclose !
Cant get enough of a good Britt!!! I have had them my whole life, and Im 77. LOL Subbed
Thanks
Enjoyable to watch, nice team work too. Impressive all those skyward birds, so many filling the view. 🐾👍
Thank you a ton
WOW what a classy video. Great Britt, good bird work and an absolute classic shotgun! That's a rare sight to see!
Thanks for the kind words

@@uplandwild4136 ok thanks bud
What a coincidence; my orange and white Britt is named Gunner, and I run a 1935 Fox Sterlingworth in 16ga.
Nice I love mine
I like Gunner’s comments. 🤣
Thanks
Come down to Florida. I'll show you how tough wild bobwhites can be. Lol
I worry about porcupines not gators. I used to live in the P'cola so I hear ya. LOl

Gunners not the greatest retriever, but he's pretty solid for a pointing breed. Not sure what your point was?
@@uplandwild4136 My point was you encourge your dog to deliver to hand.
@@horizanadventures He does most of the time. He tends to have a soft mouth most of the time. He's not perfect.
@@uplandwild4136 Having soft mouth better than having hard mouth.
