Wow! Only a foot of record snowfall for one day since 1909!? Really good to know. I'm originally from Michigan, and when I lived on the west coast there, it was not unusual to have 13 to 15 feet of total winter snowfall! Right now I'm up in Northeast Wisconsin, where the snowfall isn't heavy. But I'm considering a move to the Fort Wayne area just for having a little shorter and milder winter season. Wolf and Dessauers. The lit Santa Claus and reindeer and the big green Merry Christmas wreath were part of their original display. Anyway, W&D used to do Christmas up like crazy every year, animatronic displays, actors dressing like elves, it was the place to take the kids to see Santa every year. I remember going there as a really little kid a couple of times. They would even hand out small gifts and candy to the kids after they saw Santa.
