I give ya props for making it work! I couldn't do it unless I had no other choice. Currently finishing up a 16ft cargo trailer and I admit....I custom built everything to be as glamper as possible and have alot of storage areas for everything to live without clutter. In winter do you go to a southern part of your state, or go to states like AZ & TX? So many that live in vehicles head to AZ. I live in IL and have been to southern IL where it is way warmer than northern IL. I want to make the leap to living in a minivan, but would have to get rid of almost all my possessions (wow - that sounds hard to do). 🤔
I started this July, so my winter plans are notional. I have explored driving south to a different state, traveling somewhere economical and warm (e. g. Nicaragua), economical transient housing (e. g. couchsurfing, house sitting services), or something else! The great thing about this lifestyle is you really don’t have to commit to anything beyond the next morning. I actually really enjoyed the process of shedding most of my possessions… and I’ve kept a number in storage (th-cam.com/video/8vTfPHebjXs/w-d-xo.html). For me this lifestyle is a transition period, in the long run I will return to a walled dwelling of some kind.
I'm guessing you really just want to go, go drive around the country talking pics, drinking coffee, doing cool risky stuff, meeting ppl, staying up all night, just.....free
