All Koreans use those 50 words in daily life. Those words are not book words!! If you are learning Korean and want to improve your Korean language skills, this video seems really helpful!! Also, I love that pink background!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

What do you mean with your expression these words are not “book words”? I have found them even in the dictionary ( 엣 센 수 한영사전/Minjung’s Essence Korean-English Dictionary)

    • @LearningKoreanBUSANNAMJA

@@monicastorbeck2238 I said those words are not BOOK WORDS!! It means Koreans actually use them in daily life!! So those words are practicle and different from some Korean words that are just written on a korean learning book and anyone in Korean does not use them!!! I hope I make myself clear!!!

@@monicastorbeck2238 hey. While they ARE in a book, what he means is they are not vocabulary that’s taught to foreigners and is only technically correct despite not being said outside of books.

@@alexandermorrison7208 Hey. Bless your heart. Thanks for the extra explanation. What you mean is, that these teachers are teaching words that aren't used in books. You mean school books, novels? I've never heard nor read the terminology "book words", that's why I was asking, because it's really confusing. What I like at TTMIK is, they keep it simple and fun.

As you know, many nations in Asia such as China, Korea, Japan, Vietnam etc shared Chinese characters. There are a lot of korean words originated from chinese character. Tea is 茶, Car is 車 in chinese and their pronunciations are coincidentally same, 차, in korean. You can distinguish both words in the conversations or sentences.
