It was a good ride, But there were a couple things. Her rein management wasn’t good, she slipped them once and was fidgeting with them a lot. The horse was a athletic and eager but she did not have them focused enough. The bit may have been too much because every time the rider checked speed with the reins the horse threw their head. This was not a bad ride by any means and they still did stuff my horse doesn’t do, but those are things that will lose you points in reining.
She could have given the horse his head a bit more and fixed some issues, but the reason for the ride was lovely and I don’t think they should’ve marked her anywhere near as low as they did. She did well, other than small things.
Would have loved to give her more rein but she was a fire breathing dragon with the crowd, we did the best with the situation given 🤷🏼♀️ I wasn’t riding to win Incas riding for my friend who is 12 years in battling cancer ♥️

Might be a stupid question, but is that a Quarter Horse? To me, it looks almost like a Saddlebred. May just be me though, but the head set and majority of the gaiting looked like Saddlebred movement a little bit. Could just be me being used to my mare (Saddlebred but not as super-duper flashy.) because I feel like that horse (I don't know if it's a mare or gelding, looks like a mare though.) moves like my girl.
I thought it was ok. She had too short of a rein on that horse's head, which was making him frustrated, thus the bucking and kinda going off script for a sec. I definitely commend the cause of her ride. Just her spins could've been better as well.

That was a bad ride. Not nice to look. Bad Spin, Head to high, fighting against the Bit. Start that Horse Bridleless, we ll see if it looks better or maybe more worth.....

They can’t win just because you like them. They were both athletic and eager and the horse knew the moves but it was pretty messy for a reining arena.
