Dr. Jeremie Calais MD MSc has established a clinical Theranostics research program that combines academic investigator-initiated and industry sponsored studies using targeted radionuclide imaging and therapy. The clinical research program focuses on translatable radiolabeled theranostic pairs that can be used and applied for diagnosis and therapy of cancer. Dr. Calais is interviewed by Allen Edel from Malecare.

I was diagnosed with localized cancer, GL 4+3 and treated with Tulsa Pro. Luckily I learned of the PSMA PET study at UCLA. The results indicated that the disease was not limited to the prostate. It had, in fact, spread to one of the seminal vesicles. I saw Dr. Kishan at UCLA and completed 5 ViewRay SBRT treatments and have had undetectable PSA. I believe that PSMA PET is an invaluable test that may well have made PCa irrelevant.

Do you advise periodic urinary cytology to rule out secondary tumors?
