I would like to add one thing please in this year's IPL, 5 teams instead of 4 should be qualified for the playoffs. 10 teams and only 4 getting qualified looks like an injustice and competition gets more tough. Pattern looks same; if 8 teams are there only 4 qualify and if 10 teams are there only 4 qualify? Doesn't it seem as an injustice to the team finishing at the 5th position? Now question arises as to how should playoffs be conducted? Then it's quite simple. The top 2 teams will play qualifier 1 and the winner will be in the final. The teams at 4th and 5th position will play Eliminator 1, loser team will directly gets disqualified whereas the winning team will play Eliminator 2 with the team at 3rd position. Then the winner of eliminator 2 will play qualifier 2 with the loosing team of qualifier 1 and the winner of that will play in the final. In regular pattern of playoffs there would be total 4 matches including final in the playoffs, the idea which I gave, there will be 5 matches including final. Just one match extra!! Sir if u read this comment then please think about this. It will be exciting for the team as well as for the viewers.
