- Another Whiteman Motors Special! This gem comes to the Pacific Northwest from Central Montana and is a true survivor car.
A well preserved gem from the early 60's, this is a time warp back to the simpler days of air cooled cars and minimal wiring.

Beautiful crisp lil bug. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for your presentation is wonderfull.
A beetle unmolested as it should be. Nice original survivor. Brilliant! Well done!!
We had this car in that EXACT color in 1967! Cutest little thing ever! No air conditioning, but heat. No power anything. 4-speed manual. Ours was much quieter than the one in this video, though.
My older brother got it after our dad was done with it. First thing he did was change the gas pedal to the Hippie Barefoot black-and-chrome thing.
During one particularly icy Chicago morning my father and I were in it going too fast around a tight curve on Sheridan Road in Highland Park when he hit a patch of black ice and we spun around twice.
Thank goodness no one else was on the road there at that time or we would have been in a very bad accident. As it was, he just registered exhilaration on his face and drove on, telling me that he used to do that a lot when he was younger.
Twelve years later -- five years after my father died of cancer -- I found myself in Formula racing school in Mont Tremblant, Quebec in a Van Diemen Formula Ford. I was the only person to spin out on the course (started that turn about six inches too early and about two miles per hour too fast) on the second day. Again, there was enough space between us so I didn't collide with anyone, but it sure brought back memories of that day as a little kid in that baby blue Volkswagen Beetle.
Ironically, Van Diemen was bought by Élan Motorsports, which is near where I now live in Georgia.
That's a great looking bug!
I have a '64 sunroof. Love them!
Very cool! I daily drive my bone stock 1962 Anthracite Grey 40hp 1200 all day, every day!
Sweet little car, great shape!
My dream car. I built a Tamiya bug model kit a few years ago & painted it EXACTLY the same as yours-body & interior. I even painted the rims the same baby blue & color as the body. The interior upholstery all white & all dashboard & metal surfaces the same blue as the body. That’s a BEAUTIFUL bug!
Mine earlier model.no gas gauge.probably 1958,first large back, window .must change on hills
Great tip about the hubcaps!
I have the same car here in south america Uruguay, mine is yellow, its really Take care, like yours, its complete too, 🎉🎉

A PLASTIC inline fuel filter inside the engine compartment of a hot air-cooled engine? You are just asking for an engine fire!!
