All I know is that I loved bouncing to this song on a small exercise trampoline in 1983 in my basement when I was 6.

Here's a fun fact for all of you: This song is also featured in a Kung Fu action film called "Ninja Strikes Back" starring the imitator Bruce Le (that's right, just one "e") during a scene that actually takes place inside of a disco.

I wonder why a long-time industry pro like Dave Grusin decided to burn T-Connection like this, using the same song title within 3 years.

....These lowest of lifeforms will never possess the required neuronal tissue to understand....
Thats so sad to admit that "de- evolution" of mainstream pop is mainly shit and has covered the power of the mind for immagination ...that abilty that great sinfony-orchestral sounds were able to give the sensations to fly over ,fly higher and elevate the Soul to Dreamland.
Good thing at least that here on YT I canstill find people that show love for this magical genere of great music called DISCO

Oh my God, what a bunch of pretentious windbags! Have any of you even SEEN the movie? Dave Grusin clearly INTNDED the song to be cheese - it's used to show how Robert Redford's character has sold out by allowing his noble horse to be exploited in a cheesy Vegas act. Yes, I genuinely appreciate orchestral disco music from the 70s - look at my other posts. Y'all are idiots.

Before finding your post on TH-cam, the only time I had heard this song was when watching the movie in the theater. Even as a naive 12 year old, I understood the use of the song playing to the dance routine from all the young women in their sequins and hip-disco outfits allowing Redford and his horse to escape in plain sight by riding right through the routine off the stage past the audience and out the door, leading everyone (audience and dancers) to believe it was part of the act until it was too late to stop him.
