- President Donald Trump is telling CIA employees whose work he has publicly doubted that no one feels stronger about the intelligence community than he does.
Trump is addressing about 400 CIA employees at their headquarters in Langley, Virginia, on his first full day in office.
Trump told the workers that they are really special and amazing people and that "I am so behind you."
The meeting follows Trump's repeated and sharp public criticism of U.S. intelligence agencies before and after the election. He challenged and at times belittled their conclusions that Russia attempted to influence the election to help him win the White House.
I really wish the media would start reporting honestly on President Trump. It's not helping the country and it's not fair to us citizens.

Let's put aside the debate about whether Trump means what he says, or whether he is actually going to do what he said he'll do..... Can Trump supporters at least admit that he is a horrendous public speaker?
The man rambles and seems incapable of staying on point. I've never seen anybody as inarticulate as Trump. It pains me to listen to his bumbling directionless tirades. But hey that's just me, I'd actually like to hear what Trump supporters think about his public speaking abilities. Does he seem more relatable by speaking like that? Does that make him seem more authentic? Do you guys even notice when he rambles?
I'm curious and eager to understand, because it baffles me that people who think a man seemingly incapable of getting a point across is a good choice for a leader. I know being a leader is about action, but my lord, there needs to be at least a shred of class, poise, eloquence, diplomacy and charisma, no? I see none of that in him.

I wish he was as good a speaker as Nigel Farage or other equally talented speaker but despite that I think he is much more intelligent then people make him out to be. I don't know if this is true but I heard Einstein had a speech problem in his youth, make of that what you will. As I understand it currently experts believe there are something like six different areas of intelligence. Language, spacial, emotional, numerical and so on
(may have made some errors on those but you get the point).

Thank you for sharing your point of view. I can relate to the idea of not being concise as I'd like to be when public speaking (I think I'm a clearer writer than speaker) so that part makes sense to me. Regardless of policies, because those can be debated over and over, I do find listening to Trump, and GW Bush to a lesser degree, to be my biggest hurdle in relating to them. I am far more likely to listen to a speaker who is eloquent and stays on point. I know 12 year olds who are more articulate than Trump, and I'm not trying to be name calling or whatever, I just find his speaking style so off putting.

This is the most incoherent attempt at a speech i have ever heard.
I hadn't seen this thing in it's entirety until just now and, holy crap, I am at a loss as to how to even feel let alone respond. The introductory whooping and hollering from some unidentified people in the front rows are proof enough that he made sure to install some ringers to cheer for him. It's even more telling that you can see the rest of the CIA looking back and forth as they were confused about who the clapping entourage even were.
But the biggest shocker is that this is the CIA Memorial and it was supposed to be the central point of the speech. But he stands there at a memorial for 117 men and women who were killed or who died in the line of duty and he cracks shitty jokes while shamelessly masturbating the whole entire time. He manages just eight words on the subject, "The wall behind me is very, very special."
Before he's done though he goes for one more dickish joke about the thousands of people that were outside after not being able to gain admittance to the speech. He says, as he's standing in a space dedicated to the memory of dead Americans, "Next time we're gonna need to get a bigger room."
